That does not seem to be true for everyone.

I guess if you weren't a serious fan, and just a casual viewer it might not matter much what one suit looks like in comparison to another.

Stated differently, people that aren't obsessive fans do not have irrational attachments to minor details.

I disagree. We'll see eventually, but until then, here's what I'm seeing.

It is not a darker tone than blue. It is darker blue because it is in the shadows. There's no red there and definitely not like any of your manips. You got everything pretty much right but the waist is clearly wrong, imo. Oh, and the thing in the leg is a seam, not a patch. They are probably gold, the same color of the belt and the seam on the waist is also clearly gold, same reflection and material of the belt.
