Never been a huge fan of Krypto, but he seemed like a harmless character. I don't get all the hate here.

I always could take him or leave him.

I did feel that he shouldn't have looked like a dog.....Superman shouldn't look like a human for that matter. At least not without some kind of Kryptonian dna restructuring. Like Icon, but that's neither here nor there.

wait......so that WAS Krypto dead in AC #2??!! and not some random goat creature?? :wow:

:csad:

Yea i think i'm dropping all Superman comics. Bring back the married, fun loving guy. not this depressed, single bull ****. Bring back Connor Kent and Krypto. Bring back the Teen Titans.

Dropped.

Superman used to be a fun-loving guy? I loved the old Superman too, but I must've missed that part...

at least he loved what he did, he had something to go home to, he had parents for the longest time.

I'm pretty sure rather than read comics, Assassin just stares at the pictures for 30 seconds and then moves on. So he probably just mistook Superman's reaction to Lois getting shot in Umec or The Vanishing as happy times.

Superman seems pretty pleased sticking it to the man in Action Comics. :o

I think that's the main reason they're dead. Morrison's young Superman doesn't work with Ma and Pa around to point out that he shouldn't be such an awful meanie to everyone because he's essentially just being a bigger bully to the other bullies, which doesn't solve anything, and, oh, is he eating right, he's looking a bit thin.

Clark in Action Comics wears very baggy clothes to give off the image of looking a bit thin.

As the assault from an alien threat takes a turn for the worse for Metropolis, keys facts about Superman’s past are brought to light for the first time! And how can certain elements from The Man of Steel’s future help to prevent the theft of the millennium? Don’t miss this awesome issue from series writer Grant Morrison and the guest art team of Andy Kubert and Jesse Delperdang!
This issue is also offered as a special combo pack edition, polybagged with a redemption code for a digital download of the issue

They had me at "the theft of the millennium." Which in a Morrison comic could be that someone pulling off a giant heist or that someone is trying to steal the Millennium. I'm hoping the later but I'm guessing it's [BLACKOUT]Brainiac trying to shrink Metropolis. [/BLACKOUT]

I love that this version of Superman is bullying the bullies. I don't see whats so wrong with that. He should be enjoying scaring the crap out of people that normally feel untouchable.
