This story arc is very good and the action IMO is great. I think for some people to like this arc you have to look out side of it being just a comic because as I stated over and over this run will be like a movie/novel and I like it. Although I have a feeling most will change their mind when the TPB comes out and you get to read the books all at once.

Ya' know, as long as this kid is going to be part of the superman mythos, i.e. clark and lois getting married, and not some gimmick, i.e. superman dieing, I will be fine with it.

If I wanted a movie/novel, id buy a movie/novel. I buy comics because theyre comics.

If I wanted a movie/novel, id buy a movie/novel. I buy comics because theyre comics.

I agree thats the same reason why Birthright and For Tomorrow didn't fly to well either.

I for one had a problem with Birthright. Not that it went against canon and retconned and what-have-you. Just for the sole purpose tha I didn't care for the story. Eye Em Oh.

No meaning this you might not have had a problem with those books but others did for the reason why you stated you have a problem with this one. My thing is it might not please some with it being issue by issue but once collected it may be a much better read (Birthright and For Tomorrow). Thats all I am saying I think this book will look much better once collected.

Kubert's art is very ineasy to look at in this book.Way too sketchy and unfinished.For pete's sake,he has detailed lines stretching a good 2cm off of Superman's forearm.
