Hi, I'm DanTheDevil, and I'm a TDK Viraloholic. I haven't had a taste of TDK virals for a week now. I'm having terrible withdrawl symptoms... shaking, nervousness, boredom...

I check the Viral sites constantly hoping for a hit... a GCN ticker update, some second-hand Whysoserious hunts.... anything to alleviate the pain I am going through. But I get nothing. I can't even move on to a Watchmen Avy without Jokerizing it.... what is wrong with me??

I decided to start this thread so that those of us going through withdrawl can get some support. Feel free to stand up and tell us about your pain... we will listen and help as we can.

I am definitely a TDK viralholic. I saw TDK at 12AM and kept thinking something wild would happen today with the virals, I knew not to expect it or assume.. but I just couldn't help but hope there would be something more.
Somehow I keep waiting and thinking that new virals will start for the third movie, i'm really going to miss the games

Hi, I'm FromThisGirl, and I'm a viralholic. My addiction started many, many months ago like it did for most of you, and I'm sure we can all agree that stopping is easier said than done. I keep hoping the Boss will send out a message to us, he has so many clever methods of doing so after all.. I-I just miss it all so much you know? *starts sobbing*

Im Frankiesuicide and I'm a viral addict I started using because my friends said it was cool and all the girls would like me if I started viraling. So being the impressionable youth I am, I started using viral. I started small. A website here a phone call there, then it got worse. I started spiraling into a void of viral. My work started to suffer because I spent hours searching websites and maps looking for clues. Im here to say Viraling is a gateway drug. My viraling led to Hyping......who knows whats next.............

Why hasn't the boss contacted us?! Have we been forgotten!?

/shake

I am BirdsDoThus, and I am a TDK viralholic. No matter how hard I try, I can't sit down at a computer without checking for updates. I don't think my life will ever go back to normal, and I don't want it to. They've changed things.
lol

hey... my name is byte19, and I'm a viralholic. I've become more famous with winning the Scavenger Hunt Reel back in April, and I've been following the virals since July. what to do now it's over? go back to flipping burgers at the local drive-in!!

I'll just skip the introductions and go right to :waa:

Although I had fun picking out viral game references while watching the movie. :yay: There were quite a few of them, unlike Cloverfield, which only had like, 2 references.

The second I heard "sitting ducks" and "shooting gallery" I got so unnecessarily excited (I played those games - and listened to that music - for hours!). WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT VIRAL UPDATES? :csad:

Hello, My name is Infamous and I am a Viralholic.

I sit and wait and wait... and wait some more for this fun to stop, I will hate.

Hello, I'm Ear and I am so damn ready for the Batman 3 virals to start.

I can only imagine if there is a 3rd and that villain is The Riddler.. how complex the games are going to be..

I'm not sure 42 has ever done a continued version of a viral game. Someone please correct me, I may be wrong.

And, honestly, I'm not sure it would even pay for WB to spring for another one. They hype from the Dark Knight will carry over. They wanted a campaign to get people talking about the movie, and it worked. To go to the incredible efforts they did with this campaign again might not be worth the effort for them.

Especially because they would be expected to top themselves. For example, a lot of the newcomers to this game joined in a time where the updates were plentiful. There were times early on in the game, especially after Heath's death, where months went by without updates. With a larger crowd, would this be tolerated? Wouldn't a lot of people just expect free give-a-ways at every turn?

I'm forcing myself to be pessimistic, because the idea that there could be more just seems too good to handle. And I really don't know if 42 or WB would be into it as it again.

Even if they do, we can all agree that nothing will ever replace the epic-ness of this game.

:( :(

I wish we had the skills to continue the viral for ourselves......

Is it bad that I've seriously been debating getting a tattoo in tribute of this campaign. It played a significant portion of my life for a little more than a year.

Can we continue it?

i too have been having viral withdrawals, eagerly searching the boards and sites every chance i get for the next crumb or clue. but i have found nothing. i long for another scavenger hunt, i pine for another campaign rally. but all that i have to satisfy my TDK viral urges is gazing upon some of the truly awesome swag i've been so lucky to have.

Hello, I'm Andrizzle and I'm a TDK Viraloholic. I keep checking my Joker phone for directions, and I continually have to fight the urge to coordinate large groups of people in Chicago and pair them with online oracles...

Hi, I'm Robbie and I'm a TDK Viralholic. I check the Viral forum every day hoping for some activity. Today, around noon, only five people were on the boards. I cried a little...

Ummm...Hi...My name is Dan and i started to become a TDK viralholic in late December... I know I can break the habbit (of checking SHH! boards and WSS.com) but its just to hard once the dent-mobiles came to town I was hooked (like one may be with drugs or (s)LAUGHTER(ing)) well to break this now would be impossible so I think I will keep spreading the word as far as possible, where ever I go...This word being (choose one) "I believe in Harvey Dent"/"I am a citizen for Batman"/or one of many quotes from Mr.J...

I realize I've forgotten to mention a few things... I've been following the campaign since the Joker cards leading us to IBelieveInHarveyDentToo.com, when I added my email address to help reveal one more pixel of the Boss's face... From then on I was hooked. I remember the dark days of the San Diego Viral hunt, when although I was only an hour away from the coordinates, I decided to stay home and work on the online portion. Back before I found SHH, when my only link to the viral campaign had been BOF, and I was left struggling to solve the online puzzles by myself.

Then I set out to find an online community where I could work past roadblocks and find the answers faster, and I found SHH. Still, it wasn't until I got tickets for the prologue screening that I signed up.

I've come a long way from those days. I attended the prologue screening, and got my 1st edition times, I met the Dentmobile, received a voter registration card, a Dent campaign package with 2nd edition Times, and I received a burnt Dent pin. I was the second person to get to the Madison bowling ball, I got through to the concierge on Operation Slipknot and received my package, I attended the April Trailer hunt, received the 3rd edition Gotham Times and the CFB packages in the mail, and attended the Chicago CFB rally and the Minneapolis early screening. I attended last nights 12:01 screening at my local IMAX and I have four free tickets waiting to be redeemed, thanks to 42.

Through all of this, I have told countless people of the viral, and I've dragged at least two people in with me, one of which has joined the boards here. In short, I don't know that I can be rehabilitated.

Some days I sit with my countless Harvey Dent and CFB posters, stickers, and buttons, reading through my issues of the Gotham Times, and weep. Those are the good days.
