Just saw those two new pics from the SHH frontpage. Looking at the second pick with the soldier and the missle launcher(I think that's what it is)i'm hoping the military doesn't own Decepticons again. They shouldn't have even been a threat in the first two films.

As I understand the situation, the answer to your question would be yes, TF3 is being filmed in 3D.

Sir Ridley Scott talked about Michael Bay, and 3-d on AICIN (ain't it cool news) and how Bay realised, that shooting in 3D does not pose any significant challenges in comparison to normal shooting.

I'm sure ILM was able to afford more "rendering farms" with the money they had earned from making TFROTF, which would help them (in order to get the LEFT, and RIGHT perspectives of their animated creations generated in time for the realease of their 3D film) with the doubled workload they are thus commited to on TF3.

by the time Optimus got to The Fallen, I was glad as all hell it only lasted 15 seconds, that final battle was a half hour TOO DAMN LONG

but IMO, they should have cut a good chunk off the begining of it, did we seriously need 10 minutes of Shia and Megan running towards the camp? By the time time Shia reaches Prime I'm already half asleep (everytime I watch it).

the only part of the film that really drags me down

Where do you think the technology to "own" the Decepticons came from? Since Megatron was the first transformer discovered, most weapons, cars, and technology in general were all reversed engineered. So it is plausible to think that our military could take them down.

I know they reverse engineered everything from Megatron, I meant in terms of the writing. I wish they still didn't quite hold up as they did, that way the Autobots are needed that much more to take out the Decepticons.

the guys arm is bigger then Shia. i know that he has an ego now. but this would be suicide.

Pretty much what i was thinking . I just watched the vid .
Most likely that Shia is rehearsing his lines with the black dude.

Ive seen various videos and photos of Shia on set and he's very animated and hyper.....so this new film has Ultra Magnus? are we going to see any Big Bots like Omega Supreme or something?

I hope so... Altho bay says theres gonna be lesser robots in this one, i dont see why he wont want to do another devastator.

And the reason why the fallen got owned by optimus in the second movie was that optimus was SUPPOSED to kill him easily right... Thats why the fallen was so afraid of coming to earth in the first place...

yes....he wouldn't even go back to Earth until he was told that Prime was "dead", I do wish the fight was longer though

and War for Cybertron is pretty good...it has some issues but still the best TF game Ive played
