the point i think i failed to make there, was that we know barely anything of the plot and what not right now.... so it's not surprising we don't know the character's name for the new girl...

I get your point I was just being glib, but I figured its one of those bits of information that the studio might want to get out there to avoid any odd perceptions....Megan Fox has been replaced by (whatever her name is) who will be playing (Blah Blah), the new girl in Sams life

Yeah it is dumb to fire Megan only to rehire someone to play the exact same character. But, it is a hell of a lot better than just saying that Mikaela died or left and then the very next second introduce the new girl as a new character.

no thank you, I would rather they write in an excuse for her departure (left or moved for whatever reason) and introduce the new girl than to just recast. I F'NG HATE RECAST'S WITH A FURY PASSION

I hate recasts as well but Maggie G in TDK wasn't really a big deal. Had the first 5 minutes they said that oh Rachel moved away or got killed and here is Vicki Vale then it would have been terrible.

That would have been terrible if it happened in this movie. Mikaela moved away, here is a new hot girl!!!

I think what happened with Megan is unfortunate and I am fine with recasts as long as it is a step up but this really isn't. But, it is a lot better than just throwing away the character from the past two films to conveniently introduce a new one to be a love interest.

I thought the "new love interest" was supposed to be some sort of Gwen Stacy thing in Spider-man 3 to create a love triangle for Sam. But since Mikeala has been axed, seems like Sam has an easier time deciding

Rosie is definitely NOT playing Mikaela. This was confirmed by people on set.

Also, the only thing anyone knew, that I talked to, about the Nascar-cons are that they're Autobots, and they have 5 machine guns on them that are used in this scene on Washington and Welles, that they've been filming for days.

I read somewhere that the guns on the nascars are for the filming and they're going to use CGI to show them coming out of the cars. Don't ask me where I read that. I don't remember.
