In light of the new firmware, lets show off our backgrounds. I'll start.

YYou can use any image you've downloaded to your PS3. So if you have a memory stick, or have your PS3 connected to your computer etc. Put the file on filehost or something.

Just go to photos and look for the photo you want on your PC or storage device and press select. Theres now an option to set the pic as a wallpaper

So, would anyone be able to tell me if the pictures I have on my PSP memory stick (which i use as backgrounds) will also work on my PS3 in the same way?

Also, is this only an option for the JP firmware that just came out? Or can US PS3s do this too?

They're normal jpegs.
