Its not that. Its the way its colored and designed. In X2, he looks badass. In that shot, he looks silly.

I dunno, maybe Im seeing it the way some people are seeing Beast in his first pic. Looking at all the wrong things.

Colossus and Iceman are my 2 favorite characters, and now that they have screwed up Iceman, all I got is Piotr. I want him to be perfect. Is that so much to ask????

No I am going to say that I completely agree with you here; I too noticed the change. I much more prefer the "shinier," more blue-ish metal look they had for Colossus in X2; this one looks too dark, almost a black-tinted Colossus. I dunno, we'll see as more pictures and trailers debut, but as of now I'm prefering the last Colossus look more.

Much better, it wouldn't have been hard to do this in the movie.

I like the look but they could've covered his face. I'm tired of actors not wanting to cover their faces but they're playing roles of comic book characters that do and they need to get over themselves and be happy to be a part of such a great movie. I'm not saying that's the case for Vinnie but, the movie makers need a bit more imagination when it comes to these comic book movies.

They act like they're afraid to make them. Like in FF, Doom could've had a bigger armored look, Vader had it and he's inspired by Doom, let the original show everyone who's the main man.

The reason I dont like it is because its so different.

The official picture of X3's Colossus obviously has more light on his face, accentuating his features... more so than the clip from X2. You never got a clear shot of his fave in X2... All X3 did was expand upon his look and added more definition. This is also a still - I'm sure it'll look a lot better in the movie. His eyes don't bother em that much... Its still possible they will change it in post production.

Its not practical to cover his face, connecting the eye area to the mouth area... Why?

1. It is too loose of a helmet that it'd be easy to lose a good amount of sight with it, as it does not seem to come into direct contact with the face.

2. They gave us a rounded, more Juggernaut-esque shaped helmet that I would have expected. They sacrifised the inner face plate so we could get a rounder, Juggernaut-looking helmet. Besides, it would be ackward and useless in the movie to have that there... it'd look fake. No one would wear that...

Thats more likable IMO....maybe they can still change the helmet through cgi.. but i doubt that would ever happen
