Smallville Legends: The Oliver Queen Chronicles

From K-Site:

During the airing of "Hydro" on January 11 was a promo for a Sprint-sponsored animated feature called Smallville Legends: The Oliver Queen Chronicles.

More information is said to air during the Jan. 18 "Justice" episode, and beyond that, this is what we do know:

- The Oliver Queen Chronicles will involve Smallville's Green Arrow and that it appears to tell a bit about his character's back story - a back story which, we do believe, has ties to Smallville's pilot episode.

- Expect there to be ties to another major mythology-based tie-in that is scheduled to premiere in April.

- Oliver's backstory on the island in addition to his time at Excelsior with Lex Luthor will be covered.

- The Chronicles will be available exclusively on Sprint phones first, and online more than a month later. So, if you're a Sprint customer you are in luck!

This will more then likely end up on the Season 6 DVD just like the other Chronicles did

It better!:cmad:

I enjoy the chronicles side stories.
The Vengeance chronicles last year were great.

I thought they, uh... sucked.

Seriously, with the exception of Allison, the acting was some of the worst I've ever seen. It was bad enough that it was distracting and too big a hurdle for me to overlook.

Oh, and I have Sprint. :) Hopefully there will be a way to share the Ollie stuff once it's out there. Maybe I can record the screen on my phone with another phone. LOL.. gotta love technology.

No the acting wasn't great, but I thought the story was interesting. Plus if you knew how to do the easter eggs, you got updates on some of the old characters like Bart and Mxy.

Plus it bridged the gap of 33.1 from season four that lead into the current 33.1 story happening right now this season. It had more seasonal significance than the original Chloe Chronicles.

Ya know what? Didn't the Vengeance Chronicles and Jinx establish that 33.1 was specifcally for freaks that weren't meteor induced? Characters like Molly, Bart, Mxy that have abilities but aren't "meteor freaks."

No, the Electro dude in the chronicles was meteor induced and he was one of the patients that escaped.

Don't remember how much they talked about the purpose, but I think it was a mixture of the Krypto and non-Krypto patients.

I DON'T even have a phone! I have to wait till dvd ..>(

QFT. I understand that the VC was a bonus, but bonuses should never be painful.

I have Sprint as my cell phone carrier. But dont they charge you megabucks to get information like that downloaded to your phone.

LOL

Okay, don't fall over, but I've YET to watch them.

Yeah, really. ;)

I simply just... um... don't care about that stuff. LOL If it's not IN the show itself, I could care less. The ONLY exception would be if Welling narrated one of those stories, or was involved in the production in some way. Other than that... meh.

And these Green Arrow chronicles? Pfffft! I don't even know why I opened this thread. Hee! Guess its like watching a train wreck or something. :O :D

LOL! Guess this might be something to catch after all...

I have a few converters that might help. Have you ever recorded from a cell phone to computer before Serene ? What files do they come out as ?

I've only emailed pictures to my computer before. But my phone does record video, and I believe I can also email those. Not sure what format they are though.
I doubt I can save the file as Sprint plays it, but maybe I can play it on one phone and record it with another. We have 3 really good phones my my house. :)

I've tried this a few times today.. and I got nuttin'.

It looks almost like the CG animation used for the MTV Spider-Man show that was on a couple of years ago.
