I think the opposite. That's what was great about TASM swinging, it felt "weighty", grounded (excepting some iconic poses). The trailer only has some of those weighty moments, what a shame.I love the swinging in this movie. It seems effortless for him to gain altitude whereas in the last one he needed a lot more buildup to get going. Seemed very street level.
Yeah, I kind of agree with this. In some scenes in the trailer, it looked sort of like he was floating with a web line in his hand. It wasn't terrible, it just seemed like there was less gravity than the swinging scenes in TASMI think the opposite. I'm not sure about the suit in this movie. In some shots, it looks just as awesome as the Raimi suit. But in other shots, it looks like a cheap spandex Halloween costume. Anyone else feel this way about it? What's up with that? Is it that the material just looks different in different lighting, or are there two different suits (that are really supposed to be the same one)?
Maybe you're seeing the difference between the practical suit and the CGI version. I'd expect the CGI to improve by the time the film releases. They also have different suits made for Andrew and the stunt guys...not sure about the differences.
Yeah, I don't know. In some of the shots, the material looks really cheap but maybe it's just because I'm watching it on a computer screen, I don't know.

Yeah I have no problem with the eyes either. :/

I have no problem with your avatar's eyes.![]()
I really thought the hand area in particular was a busy, illogical mess of a design. Way too much going on in too small a space.
I like the busier look they went for with the TASM suit. You can tell it was an obvious design choice to differentiate/modernize the iconic suit. Although don't get me wrong, I love that they went back to the classic. You just can never go wrong with it.
I like when the suit wrinkles, bunches and and creases. that makes it much more realistic.
