They probably wouldn't but we would never offer that kind of money for any player. Adam is good at being the big fish in a small pond, he has too many flaws though for United and Liverpool who are looking at winning the title.

As he proved yesterday, he looked completely out of his depth I think Craig Mackail-Smith made more of an impact.... and he only played for 2 minutes!

Hey Darth ill be on you Hypesters United bench if you want??...

Great game for MUFC... 2 away goals..

Congratulations to United-supporters for the victory today.

Short question, is this thread only for the current seasons, or does the thread carry on into the next season as well?

it's kinda a rolling thread... we talk about football, the thread hits the 1k post limit and is closed and a new one started up...the threads continue as long as people post...

eh congrats on playing a sad Chelsea team then in the quarters... :whatever:

So this road

Tottenham
Barcelona
Man U

pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :whatever:

I don't know whether or not your trying to bait me into a reaction, however last time I checked.. Chelsea where one of Europe's top sides & one of the favourites for the Champions League prior to us knocking them out. It's not my fault, nor concern how Chelsea played.. heck I could very well say the same thing about Arsenal, Tottenham, Inter & Shakhtar given that they all went out with a wimper despite showing good form in the CL to get as far as they did.

Also, at what point have I said that our potential route to final was anymore difficult than Barca or Real's? Exactly. I didn't. It was you who claimed our route was the easiest.

Your the one who said it so why don't you enlighten us with your wisdom on how playing the Lique 1 Champions is an easier match than playing the Lique 1 Runner-up, or the Ukrainian Champions is harder than playing the English Champions.. or the 3rd/4th placed Premiership teams are harder than the French or English Champions.

Give me a break.. :whatever:

Hypesters FC

Lol! Looks nothing like me, but still cool nonetheless! :D

As regards to tweaks, I'd make me 6ft, give me a buzzcut/shaved head. And as regards to footwear. Adidas Predators, as I've been wearing them for 10 or so years now. Either white or black ones would be fine.

if you are doing changes I wouldnt mind being closer to my actual height (5'7") and having gold or yellow boots as thats what i had when i was younger

Hair is fine though - makes it easy to tell me apart from VP up top

If this hasn't convinced Sir Alex Ferguson that Neuer is the man to be signed to replace van der Sar, then I don't know what will.

Neuer will end up at Bayern Munich

I'm not so sure, I've read some stories that contradict other stories in relation to where Neuer supposedly sees his future.

I feel he'll end up at 1 of 3 clubs, Bayern Munich, Arsenal or Manchester United.

I reckon you're right with those 3 picks. I've been told by someone that the possibility of Neuer being Arsenal no.1 next season has a very very good chance of becoming reality. However, even though this person has been right on things before, hiccups can occur anywhere along the line before anything is officially confirmed, as well as turn out to not be the case at all, regardless of how good the source is. So I am taking this with a huge pinch of salt.

I do know for a fact though that we have been watching Neuer for two years now (probably more than that), and that his idol is certain Mad Deutschman who used to hold the no.1 shirt not too long ago with us. :D

Spidey, here's to the beginning of a beautiful partnership! :D

ving the team really - need to get rid of your superstar bench and ressies though as it bumps the teams rating and people keep backing out online

my compilation is gonna be shorter than it should as 2 people quit on me in the 88th min losing 7 replays (4 for spidey and 2 for vp) overall spidey on 6 vp on 5 hunter on 1

love that the commentators say hunter and lee

other problems include:

B ignoring spidey-dude off and on the pitch and only reluctantly making passes to sd when there is no other option (even then Im sure I have seen him contemplate a 75 yard backpass to Kit)

Kits insistence to influence play outside of his area and a heated verbal exchange with Hunter over who should take a penalty

Brian Braddocks unfaltering belief that he will score a goal from his own half

as for kits I love riverplates home, southampton hom, malaga away, Philidelphia home, Brøndby IF Away , Celtic home, Swindon Town away,

just incase you missed it with the new thread (fairly important)

Like the Everton game, you were just waiting for a goal from United to go in. It was very frustrating at times, but the second goal made up for it.

Great performance tonight, passing, movement and pace, we could have had 5 or 6 if not for the monstrous Neuer, shame he's going to Bayern. :(

I've got to say though, I've never seen such a disorganized ands passive German team, the job is not done but I'd consider it a huge failure if we don't finish them off at Old Trafford.

The key to our upswing has been the Rooney/Hernandez partnership, Hernandez is a constant threat and creates so much space for everyone else as well as being a great goal scorer. This allows Rooney to play as a creator a proper #10 and it has brought the Best out of him, he never looked as happy last season, despite 35 goals, as he does this season playing in his favourite position.
