Gone up to 3-0 now....
Huddersfields keeper is having one of those days...
Im talking about Mourinho talking about class, not Utd. Poor word to use given his own lack of it.
He had one verses Chelsea as well
Terriers have one back !! 3-1
3-1 Huddersfield get a goal just before HT
I've switched to the Women's match between MUFC & Liverpool
4-1 City. Silva with a peach of a free kick.
Martial gets his first start and Sanchez not in the squad for United; DDG, Young, Lindelof, Bailly, Shaw, Pogba, Fred, Pereira, Mata, Lukaku, Martial.
Curious to see how this midfield three develop, they looked more energetic than Uniteds keep ball midfield of last season.
5-1 Aguero hattrick.
Looking ominous with City.
Need to see them against a top 4 team...
Then itll only be 3-1...
Good to see Martial starting.
Yeah hopefully he has a solid performance, because if he botches one opportunity hell be banished to the wilderness for six weeks again.
Away victory for Watford too. Decent result for them.
Replace Mata with Sanchez, Pereira or Fred with Matic and we have our best starting lineup possible.
It's not that I'm lumping it all on the board, it's the way it is. When a team isn't playing well or getting results, the blames firmly pointed towards the manger & likewise when there are failings in negotiations in the transfer market & player contracts as there clearly was this summer, that is firmly on the board.
In each of the previous two summer windows, both manager & club have come together to find a common ground on player targets so the notion that they could never come together & agree is nonsense. Jose may have his flaws but he's not stupid, you make it seem like he's only interested in 29/30 year old players.
Jeez, City picking off right were they left off, Mendy is almost like a new signing for them because he played so little last season. I know Walker didn't play today but with him at one side & Walker at the other they have a very imposing set of full backs, physically strong, both quick, both decent on the ball.
Huddersfield have had a rough start, 3-0 at home to Chelsea & now 6-1 away at City.. not looking good for them & it's early days.
Walker basically plays like a RCB these day while Mendy is a LM.
I honestly don't quite understand the way Man City is playing this season. Their system is so unique and strange.
It was clear who he wanted, the board were not willing to buy them because of their age, had he came through with younger alternatives we'd have gotten them as we have in the past, to suggest he did and the board didn't is ridiculous, there was also the question of the fact he has spent £60M on two CB's over the last two summers and wanted another £65M spent on yet another, the club were right to ask questions about his player recruitment given he's not getting enough out of the fortune we've already spent for him.
And against Burnley too who were very good last season.
Jesus were terrible going forward.
