I have a question about the bottom left hand pic of comic Scott and Jean (who look like they're um...having a little fun). What is that over his eyes?? His eyes and nose look pretty wierd.

The Search for Cyclops is one of my favourites comics ever ... I have it on a collector's edictiton , so it's just one volume ... I love that cover with him and Jean ... it's a little graphic what they are doing ( you all can see it ) but I like it ... '

I wondering if any of you read NXM 154 where Cyclops ends up with Emma Frost and Jean dies(we assume)

I just hated how he and Emma kissed over jean's grave it seemed like such a dumb ending as well as disrespecting Jean's memory

Yeah, I didn't really like the sounds of that either, I haven't read it yet but a friend of mine and I were discussing that. I'm a firm Cyclops-Phoenix fan. I suppose if she were surely dead then he could be with some one else but not kissing on Jean's grave. That is kind of weird.

My mother passed quite a while ago and I couldn't imagine my father kissing his current wife on her grave, I think I'd go ape.

That's why I really HATE Morisson... he is a S@# $%g ... and Emma is worse ...

But I hope that the new writer make Emma suffer ... he can do like this : she may have Scott's body ( and maybe his mind too ) , but she knows that in his heart, he only loves Jean, deeply ... Emma can't and won't have space in it ... so she will suffer, knowing that he won't ever love her ...

Now, speacking seriously ... Emma isn't even fun ... Jean is so much better that her : Jean is natural ( in everything... body, mind and soul ) , Jean is the most powerful telepath in the world ( Emma doesn't even get nea her in power ) and Jean is Phoenix ...

And Scott loves Jean... not Emma ... this is the most important thing ... when Jean come back , he will just leave Emma for her again ...

Yes, I know. But Emma provides a bit of humor. She's the antagonist. The X-men do not lead a utopian life where everything is perfect harmony all the time. Emma's the little wrench thrown into Jean and Scott's relationship. I don't think they'd introduce her into the next movie when they've got so many other characters to expand. Namely, Scott's role.

Now , let see : I agree with you about the movie thing , but they may introduce her in the fourth ... Phoenix saga is long and Bryan won't let the hellfire club outside it ... so , he will put Emma ... aaarrrgggghhhhh !!!!

In the comics , Emma may be the antagonist , but ... I don't know ... I hate her ... and you know , the bad thing didn't die, even when Jean droped a building in her head !!!

I compare Emma to a character in the X - Files series , Diana Fowley ... she was hated, she was bad , she was boring , she was a b@#%h... even the cancer - man was better than she was ...

You don't know that. They might take a whole new approach with Phoenix, like they've pretty much done in the past.

The movies aren't exact copies of the comicverse. If they were, why even bother seeing them?

No worries.

As for Emma dying, I don't think they'd get rid of her in the comics, nor do I think Bryan will put her in the films. There hasn't even been a hint about her, nor the hellfire club. Instead, we've had hints about Beast, Angel, Gambit, and all those names on the computer screen. Bryan has already changed the Phoenix saga for movie purposes, so he doesn't necessarily have to bring in Emma. At most, I think she'd have a cameo.

As for the X-Files, I don't remember Diana Fowley, but my favorite bad guy was Rat Boy (Krychek- sp?).

Well, you really have a point Liz... I hope that they'll forget it ... maybe some fans will be desapointed for the hellfire club , but Bryan's way for telling the story will be better ...

And Q, you have a point too ... it's okay that theywon't kill Emma , but at least they could made her suffer ... and they can do it now with Scott ... I will buy just NXM 139 , that will be released here in July and stop it ... I can't see or read Morisson's plot anymore ... and this is because he said once that his favourite character was Jean ...

What a joke ... I really hate what he made ... he killed Jean more in ten comics than the X - Men have writer since 1963... does this make sence ???

And phoephoe, who is in the second pic , with that poster about Magneto ??? It's cool...

PS : About The X - Files , Diana Fowley was Mulder's partner and girlfriend before Scully ... she made a few episodes, in the end of season five and season six ... and Krychek was cool ... I felt bad when he lost his arm ...

I got it from Ian McKellan's site. I think it was a picture he took actually of a fan in the crowd but I thought it was hillarious. Every time I see it I giggle.
