Yeh Liz, I agree about the misplaced lines... they have a habit between X1 and X2 of manipulating things (lines, editing etc) to ensure that Logan is central ... I can understand it from a movie perspective ... i just wish they wouldn't do it at the expense of Scott's characterisation ...
