In a nutshell...

Scott is in bed, staring at the ceiling, when Jean comes into their room, switches off the bedside light, and we see the red light in Scott's shades. Jean asks him if something is wrong, at which Scott replies "I don't like having him here. This is a school, for god's sake." Jean says "Charles seems to disagree" to which Scott replies "Maybe he's wrong." Jean is somewhat shocked, since she's never heard him say that before. She lets it slide, Scott kisses her on the forehead and they go to sleep.

Out of pure memory. Sometimes it amazes me.

They might have, but we'll never know. Marsden said something about a scene with Famke, with them in bed and he kisses her forehead. It was in the shooting script, so they most probably shot it.

It was shot, but it never got beyond dailys, and no, it's not in the DVD.

I have the book around somewhere, but Scott also says in the scene "I hate him."

I'm actually rather glad it wasn't placed in the final film since it rather clashed with the way Marsden played the rivalry with Wolverine. One gets the impression from the way Marsden says the lines and plays the body language that while he dislikes Logan and doesn't quite trust him, he also doesn't take him seriously enough to hate him ... and it makes Scott a stronger character. It's also more in keeping with Scott of the comics. The way it was in the book, it overplayed the jealousy, imo, made Scott seem more insecure. The scene would have clashed badly with that lovely arrogance in his wise-crack to Logan about "my girl."

So I'm glad it's not in there. I think it would have weakened his character, overall.
