and yeah he did say in the song "the reader? i havent seen the reader!"

in any case that opening was classic. great idea to get a showman like Jackman to host this. but i still aint seeing the oscars (not in its entirety anyway). my sister is

Hugh really did kick a goal in that opener (and kudos to Hathaway too, I knew she could sing but didn't know she was that good), It's too bad the rest of the show has been somewhat tedious to watch.
