The Panama Papers - What we already knew about the rich and powerful

The illusion of change will happen where things will appear to be dealt with and there's some "victory" but most likely on the lower levels, but besides that, life will continue.

There is no lower level victory.
All you can do is make sure you never vote for anyone who signed for this fake trade agreement.
It was not to create jobs here or in Panama, it was so big american corporations could hide money("earnings") offshore.
The people who signed for it, are in the pockets of, and allowing big business to avoid paying their Taxes.
GET RID OF THEM is the only way to change this.
Here are their names.

There was no change in policy when the AIG bailout fiasco happened, and there will never be, people want to believe in the American dream.

The American Dream, I think Carlin said you have to be asleep to believe it.

It does kinda give off some irony when wealthy people self deprecate about how the rest of us have to live paycheck to paycheck, but some of them did start out like that.

It will be a cold day in hell when Nancy Pelosi is out of office.

Russia I doubt is going to see much of an impact. I'm kind of surprised Iceland's PM stepped down.

He's the fall guy. A shadow organization can put their own elected official in power.

It's "Quantum of Solace" in real life

*Old White Man has more perspective than most old white men which is what we need more of* Thanks for being unnecessarily cynical.

If you're wondering who to trust as far as speaking the truth on this.
Who called it 5 years ago as it was being set up check - Bernie Sanders back in 2011!

If you want to get on top of this like Iceland.
Check all your representatives (Republican & Democrat) who signed for this imaginary "trade agreement". That benefited nobody but big money.
And MAKE SURE they explain why they signed for it, or step down.
Because there is two reason they voted for it. Either they had money in it already, or they accepted campaign money from someone who did.
And that is why they voted for it.

Side note, Panamanian citizens were not benefiting from this in any way, I've seen (not here) some rhetoric rising against Panamanians. Amurika:doh:
This was not a legit trade agreement.
These are political arrangements with bankers and lawyers Jürgen Mossack(German) Ramón Fonseca(The Panamanian ally) set up in Panama City, Panamanian citizens got nothing from this, are just as much victims.

Nice post.
Although I still wonder why the names of the american politicians haven't been published yet.
I read somewhere that all of the documents will be made public until May so there is a little time left.

What should he do once he started getting rich? Stop getting that money?
At least he spread awareness in an entertaining way, the man had talent and he wasn't using his money to fill unnecessary materialistic needs and I am sure he helped a lot of people in need while he was alive.
I wish all rich people were like him instead say like Trump.
