Talk of a lounge was brought up some time ago, then Matt tried with his "John Roberts is a Terminator" thread, but it didn't go over so well... so here goes a second attempt at a bonafide Politics lounge, complete with a lounge-like title, which I'm sure sucks (but don't they all? )

So... let the lounging commence...

I just watched 'Nixon' the other day. Half of it was enjoyable, the other half made me wonder just how awful 'W' will be.

I bought NIXON a few months ago after spending years trying to find it.

I keep preparing myself to watch it, but its length is intimidating.

After seeing the entertainment weekly picture of Bush and Laura in W, I am somewhat interested in W.

Some of the script inserts were amusing to say the least, especially when Bush refers to Karl Rove as "turdblossom" and asks Bush Sr. to fight him "mano a mano."

Okay, saw the EW cover and I gotta say, WTF? Is this movie supposed to be a parody? Bush kinda looks like an action hero, with his coat tails flapping in the wind. And Banks is waaaaay too sexy for Laura. Plus the script, with the nicknames....I just don't know what to make of this?
