I keep thinking about the customer I talked to before the election. He was complaining about the price of a piece of cake and I admitted it was too expensive. He said “not after tomorrow!” I get that prices are too high. It’s a reason I’m moving back in with my dad but it feels like he sold out the country for a cheaper slice of cake.

I was talking with a young coworker yesterday who asked what I thought of the election. I said I didn’t want to talk about it but she told me she was happy about it because Trump was pro-choice. I said he wasn’t pro-choice and explained Project 2025, which she had never heard of. I explained what he would do to Ukraine and Palestine and she wasn’t happy about it. She still walked away in her own little world. Not a good attitude for a bisexual black woman.
