Has anyone seen this movie? I saw it yesterday. At first, I wasn't sure about it due to the story. But let's be honest: That's not what you're watching the movie for. It's the action...and it was all over the place baby!!

Tony Jaa rocks. His Muay Thai skills are nothing to sneeze at. This movie was all about the ass whoopings, and it delivered. This to me, was the fun movie of the year, better than POTC 2.

I am seeing this today.
Tony Jaa is the man, plus, I go see all Jackie Chan, Jet Li, etc. films.

I'll see it because Tony Jaa's the next great talent.

I've held back a little in the past, but you're the stupidest motherf**ker on earth, and I feel comfortable saying that.

WTF!?

someone ate alot of bullshhit today

no dude... he speaks the truth.

it's okay, just deal with it.

and tony jaa > every other martial artist, and i say that having only seen the thai warrior.

i'm going to see this tomorrow though.

I can't say I'm a fan of Jaa yet. The guy just reminds me too much of Van Damme. He lacks a screen presence and he telegraphs his moves so much it's distracting. I mean you can see the stunt guys running straight into his telegraphed spin kicks bracing themselves for the blow. Reminds me when I used to watch Van Damme do his helicopter kick. His opponent could easily duck out of the way but instead he would just stand there with a stupid look on his face until the kick connected lol.

ARE YOU SUGGESTING THAT THESE FIGHTS ARE SOMEHOW 'FAKE'? AM I TO BELEIEVE THAT THER ARE NOT INFACT ACTUAL REAL LIFE FIGHTS THAT HAVE BEEN CAUGHT ON FILM?

I watched this Movie month ago. Totally disappointing. :down I prefer Ong Bak over this.

yeah, I saw this a long time ago too. The plot is one of the most laughable things ever, and the editing is a bit weird. But I can't deny the action. I say screw the Jet Li, Jackie Chan combo movie....But Jet up against Tony Jaa. that would be cool

But the movie is basically...Ong Bak...but instead of lookin for a statue, he's lookin for a elephant. lol

I wonder what he'll be looking for in the 3rd Movie.

He'd be cool as a silent henchman in a movie. Maybe in a Bond movie. This new Bond has that french B13 martial art guy as a villian for Bond to fight I hear... and it seems the new Bond is quite the badass with the marital arts.

Or better yet. Transporter 3. lol. I just wanna see Tony Jaa as a villian in SOMETHING.

No, I'm saying the choreography stinks. Watching stunt men run into slow, telegraphed martial arts movements is not what I call a good fight scene. I mean give me a break. You're telling me some guy can't dodge Tony Jaa when he's spinning twice to deliver a kick? lol. They just run right into him. Yeah, it looks cool the first time (ala Van Damme in Bloodsport) but when you see it over and over again that **** starts to get old.

Look at that scene in the Protector when he takes on 50 guys and starts breaking limbs. They show like 5 guys running at him but then they cut to Jaa taking on one guy at a time. What happened to the other 4 guys? I mean Jaa has time to grab a guy, pose, break a limb and then pose some more before someone else attacks him. That's Van Damme type choreography all over again lol.

seen the movie last night and i thought it was fairly awesome. the ass kicking action is obviously what made it so great, but i'm not gonna knock the story. and who cares what he's fighting for as long as his fighting is enough to warrant multiple viewings of this movie? or at least the action scenes. ha.

Better than POTC2? That's not too hard to accomplish...
