This is a fun fan-fiction about the colored vigilante the Punisher (Marvel Comics) tackling an unsightly modern terrorist, and I wrote it as an homage to my love of comic books and as a follow-up to my earlier post about the 'art' of comic book diarism.

"Isaac was an online short-story writer who considered himself a real modern knight. He was a big fan of the American vigilante anti-hero the Punisher (Marvel Comics) and fashioned some 'fan-fiction' short-stories about the comic book vigilante tackling his deformed crimeworld nemesis Jigsaw. Isaac saw a news-story about a NYC maniac who was copycatting Jigsaw and decided he'd track the modern terrorist as a self-proclaimed Punisher in real life. People were calling Isaac a real knight!"



"The terrorist who modeled himself after Jigsaw (Marvel Comics) was a postal worker named Richard Jem who was disfigured during an industrial toxic-waste accident during one of his mail deliveries. Jem/Jigsaw vowed vengeance against those he blamed for modern traffic deformities regarding mismanaged capitalism and waste! Jem/Jigsaw decided to attack college campus sports stadiums by planting gas-bombs during games that sedated the athletes and spectators. Jem/Jigsaw now set his sights on the NCAA men's soccer championship game between the schools Michigan and Parsons! Jem/Jigsaw had already attacked Broadway shows with smoke-bombs and earned the media reputation of being a true modern monster!"



"Isaac/Punisher read Jigsaw's threat claim in the NY Post about the upcoming promised attack on the Michigan-Parsons NCAA soccer championship and decided to travel to the Michigan campus where the game was to be held, on a Saturday. Isaac/Punisher was a decent sketch-artist and decided to pencil some nice drawings of equestrians and post copies of the sketches all over campus, so students would think less about anti-campus terrorists and perhaps more about student life sanity! Parsons was after all a respected school of art/design."



"Because Jigsaw had attacked Broadway shows in NYC with smoke-bombs, Punisher (Isaac) wisely guessed that the American terrorist would plot to make a media spectacle out of his planned attack on the Michigan-Parsons soccer championship! Jigsaw was therefore an accomplished American traffic deformer."



"On the day before the Michigan-Parsons soccer championship, on the Michigan campus, Jigsaw spread pictures of the fictional animalia-robot Predaking (Transformers) all over the campus to defy Punisher's use of art to disseminate messages of campus sanity. Predaking was a beastly gargoyle of a robot and the images represented new age angst regarding natural pollution. Jigsaw wanted the students to feel unsteady about the upcoming soccer championship and used Predaking to create campus cynicism!"



"The Michigan students were otherwise anticipating a terrific NCAA title game with rival school Parsons! Both teams boasted extraordinary strikers and midfielders who had hopes of playing in the World Cup tournament for the US national team! This Michigan-Parsons championship would be a great feather for modern televised American collegiate athletics."



"The Parsons team came prepared and hoped to offer the championship an outstanding performance in men's collegiate soccer! They weren't intimidated by Michigan as much as they were worried about the terrorist Jigsaw. The Parsons team therefore earnestly hoped that Punisher would somehow stop the terrorist from creating an unholy distraction!"



"Hollywood super-celeb couple Tom Cruise (American Made) and Katie Holmes (Batman Begins) intended to attend the Michigan-Parsons soccer championship and see a worthwhile collegiate athletic event free from the modern anathema of homegrown terrorism! They hoped Punisher could deliver to the spectators something that would prevent Jigsaw from creating some kind of unholy drama."



"Punisher managed to outwit the American terrorist Jigsaw by creating a mid-game rocketeer expedition that would dissuade Jigsaw from using smoke-bombs during the soccer championship! Punisher soared into the soccer stadium on a constructed jet-pack with bright pink dyed smoke coming out and said into a megaphone, 'You can't destroy American sports with unholy media smog!'. This infuriated Jigsaw who realized any smoke-bomb distraction now would simply reveal himself to be some kind of smoky jester! Jigsaw departed and the championship game proceeded without shock and the next day, flyers all over campus were pasted declaring Punisher to be a real lawman."



ISAAC/Punisher: "Will a terrorist like Jigsaw ever again resurface? I think, 'No' and worry about the caliber of modern American media! Hopefully, journalists will declare Jigsaw to be nothing more than an example of civilization vanity!"

The Red Triangle Gang


This is an exciting section about new age cultish crimes, inspired by the film Cobra.

"A new threat arose from the ashes of the whole Jigsaw terrorism fiasco. This new evil was a hockey-mask wearing axe-murderer named Menace who preyed on people he considered to be pathological liars! Menace lured wayward individuals and couples to his New York loft, pretending to be their newfound buddy in the city right before he butchered them in the name of what he called the dark talk. Those guilty of this 'dark talk' were fated to be horrifying victims of the hockey-mask wearing Menace!"



"There was a twist to this modern American freakshow. You see, Menace kept at his side a bevy of beautiful but deeply twisted women he called Sirens who just hid his bidding. These 'Sirens' would sometimes entertain the hapless New Yorkers Menace brought to his dwelling to become his 'dark talk' victims and allow the stunning girls to seduce and charm the would-be victims into a state of vulnerability and confused trance, allowing Menace the space to pounce and destroy! Menace and his 'Sirens' comprised what was called the Red Triangle Gang."



"The Red Triangle Gang (RTG) was 10-times worse than Charles Manson's Helter-Skelter family murders of the 1960s! The RTG was being tracked by the FBI after Menace left notes about the intentionality of the murderous group, implying they'd been clandestine only to expose the sores of New York hypocrisy! The FBI were confounded and asked Punisher (Isaac) to help. Punisher decided to track beautiful women in New York nightclubs who took men home with them in the late hours, convinced the serial-killing Menace was somehow using attractive women to create a form of modern sensuality-critical killing prophecy! Punisher followed one of Menace's 'Sirens' one night to Menace's New York dwelling and climbed through his window and shot every single member of the RTG (Menace and all the Sirens) with his silver machine-gun strapped inside his leather trenchcoat. The NY Post declared Punisher to be a miraculous modern-day Pat Garrett and an artist made a rendering for the story!"



"Punisher used a sophisticated silver quick-fire machine-gun to just spray the RTG (Red Triangle Gang) with enough bullets and with enough speed to make evasion simply naive. When the FBI insisted to ask Punisher why he felt the need to just kill everyone in the dwelling where the Siren Punisher tracked lured a potential male-yuppie victim guilty of the 'dark talk' Menace despised, Punisher explained 'The Red Triangle Gang (RTG) was a collective of pure New York madness and had to be collectively put down like animals without redeeming psychiatric value with a gun capable of unleashing efficient hellfire...I don't need to elucidate further!'."



"Was the RTG really more 'evil' than the Manson Family of the 1960s? Was this heroic deed performed by the rushing Punisher, outrageous as it was, indicative of a modern civilization need to fight fire with fire? Punisher (Isaac) at least knew that fighting evil in the modern world required great focus on the contours of urban deformity. However, the forgettable Menace was now gone."

Doll-Man: The Park Labyrinth


This is a spirited Coronavirus-time prayer vignette about dealing with social craziness during unusual human trials. My hope was to offer up a patriotic fable about anti-terrorism intuition that reveals our human ability to draw up sanity in times of great disarray.

"A strange character who called himself 'Doll-Man' mailed the Punisher a strange challenge described in a written letter in the summer of 2020. The world was beset by the Coronavirus pandemic, and Americans lived under quarantine. Doll-Man challenged Punisher to walk through a designated park maze which he'd litter with strange chemical bottles. Punisher would have to traverse the maze and choose the right chemical bottles to open or discard and the ones he'd leave behind would possibly release a deadly toxin that would further corrupt Coronavirus problems in the city. If Punisher performed the task correctly, Doll-Man would leave a small porcelain doll at the end of the maze as a trophy for having dispelled this Coronavirus threat in the designated city park! Punisher accepted this strange challenge."



"Doll-Man posed this terrorist challenge to the Punisher to see if the heroic vigilante would be able to test his patience and discover the right chemical bottles to save the park and the city from a new biotoxin threat. Punisher deduced that Doll-Man was an avant-garde terrorist who probably dressed in some kind of clownish costume and wanted to test humanity's basic faith in decision-making. Doll-Man was like a new age evil Houdini!"



"Punisher arrived at the designated city park and began traversing the maze in the park that Doll-Man littered with his test chemical bottles. Punisher knew he didn't want to cause panic so he told anyone who happened to be at the park at that time that he was on a secret mission to find a buried treasure apparently left in the park by a figure who sent the U.S. government a special notice about the treasure. This way, no one would think the Punisher was actually dealing with some kind of frightening terrorist plot in the park that would most likely add to Coronavirus paranoia!"



"Punisher began walking through the city park maze with a mask and gloves, searching for the chemical bottles Doll-Man laid throughout the maze for him to analyze! Punisher knew that if he didn't choose the correct chemical bottles to lift and discard, the unchosen bottles would release some terrible biotoxin in the city park. Punisher knew Doll-Man wanted to see if natural Coronavirus fears would make the heroic vigilante prone to vain decision-making."



"Doll-Man explained in his challenge-letter that there would be a set of two chemical bottles laid in various stages of the city park maze. Punisher was allowed only to choose one bottle from each set, because if he tried to discard both bottles from each set, Doll-Man would kill a city hostage! Punisher walked along the maze and saw that each set of double chemical bottles in the city park maze was a light-colored pastel liquid bottle paired with a dark-colored liquid bottle. Punisher chose to discard the light-colored pastel bottles from each double-set laid throughout the maze in a zigzag pattern!"



"Punisher emerged from the city park maze and found the makeup wearing and tuxedo dressed Doll-Man waiting for him and holding the trophy porcelain doll he promised Punisher he'd present to him as a gift of success. Punisher explained he chose to discard only the light-colored pastel liquid bottles from each chemical bottle set laid throughout the city park maze, since the lighter-colored liquids were likely masking a more deadly biotoxin that Doll-Man prepared as a symbol of hidden evil! Doll-Man congratulated the Punisher and gave him the trophy porcelain doll and told him that if he failed the experiment, he'd have given Punisher a sardonic glass dragon as a symbol of ideological failure!"



"Punisher hauled Doll-Man to the city jail and told the attending policewoman that the strange terrorist had attempted to create a strange urban Coronavirus related panic to create general social worry in the media! The policewoman placed Doll-Man in a maximum-security cell but then watched with curiosity as Doll-Man made a crayon drawing of her in his cell and then asked her to upload the sketch onto the Internet as evidence that the incarcerated terrorist was receiving general psychiatric treatment during the Coronavirus pandemic. When the Punisher found this drawing on the Internet one month later, he realized Doll-Man was simply trying to use Coronavirus paranoia to create a social message about urban hysteria."



PUNISHER: "I'm fully convinced that Doll-Man was some new age agent of Coronavirus tremors and wanted to see if I'd give in to human vanities and fail his clever test about cool-headed symbolic decision-making in a time of crisis in America! I'm convinced that Doll-Man was some strange prophet of modern social deformity, trying to persuade people in the city that disease could create a cauldron of new age fumes!"

GOLF-GLOVES


Here's a fun Easter parable about Coronavirus fears...and DC goosebumps!

The Punisher was in DC for Easter weekend to hear a holiday Coronavirus speech given by First Lady Melania Trump. He was curious to see how the US government was going to handle Easter for a time of great global woe. The Punisher was interested in cheering on the First Lady as she delivered her patriotic speech about how to address social spirituality in a time of terrible worldwide crisis. The Punisher hoped this important event in DC would go without a hitch and wondered if there would be a large crowd of people assembled on the White House lawn to support Mrs. Trump in this time of serious paranoia.

However, there was a proverbial monkey-wrench thrown into this 2020 Easter pot, when an American terrorist who called himself 'Mr. Dartmouth' threatened to disturb the First Lady's Easter address in DC. This terrorist, who went by the alias 'Mr. Dartmouth' (because he was a member of the Dartmouth College golf team and espoused social prestige through social activity), ominously left a pair of men's golf-gloves on the White House lawn the night before Mrs. Trump's important Easter address along with a death-note that read, "A person who wears golf-gloves without proper respects paid to the etiquette of social activity is nothing more than a vagrant!"

Obviously, this terrorist 'Mr. Dartmouth' wanted to frighten everyone on Easter weekend with a threat implying that modern-day Americans were callous about social rituals perhaps even during shared crises, prompting a more 'fire-and-brimstone' response. The Punisher realized that the only intention of 'Mr. Dartmouth' was to unnerve the people of DC and cause a modern panic. The Punisher took a silencer-pistol and hopped on his bike and rode around the city looking for the terrorist. When he spotted a strange man in a trench-coat wearing golf-gloves and walking towards the White House, he executed him. When the DCPD asked Punisher why he was sure the man he executed was 'Mr. Dartmouth' and not a random pedestrian, Punisher coldly explained no one in their right mind would be wearing golf-gloves on that somber day.

Carnage



Here's a Coronavirus quarantine prayer vignette about Punisher dealing with a new age rogue American menace named Carnage who insists people think more about social trends!

Punisher had to deal with a new menace named Carnage (Cletus Kasady). This American maniac wanted to use explosives to create a panic during the Coronavirus quarantine. Carnage intended to blow up evacuated shopping malls and car store lots so people would become ultra-conscious of the fact that everyone was forced to stay indoors to stop the spread of the virus. After Carnage performed some terrible terrorist actions in the summer of 2020, Punisher knew this maniac was a force of new age hell in America during the Coronavirus pandemic. Carnage event sent a notice to the Post challenging Punisher to track him and stop him.

Carnage was at a car graveyard when Punisher found and confronted him. Because Carnage (Cletus Kasady) was a chemical mutated monstrous individual who could shape-shift his chameleon-like flesh to make weapons on the fly such as handheld hatchets, Punisher knew he'd have to use great precision and accuracy to stop this American hellraiser. Punisher decided to use a silencer-crossbow firing arrows tipped with a potent sedative to immediately inoculate the otherwise quite violent and virulent Carnage at that car graveyard. Punisher carried the unconscious body of Carnage to a center for the secure incarceration of the criminally-insane.

CARNAGE: I can't believe you stopped me!
PUNISHER: I speak for the quiet masses.
CARNAGE: I was creating awareness of fire during the quarantine!
PUNISHER: I wanted everyone to feel secure about American sanity.
CARNAGE: Why're you defending an otherwise unruly country?
PUNISHER: I'm sort of the laughing policeman.
CARNAGE: Do you really think the quarantine will control sin?
PUNISHER: American students appreciate social customs.
CARNAGE: Can schools really offer social rhetoric?
PUNISHER: America is a land of advertisement.
CARNAGE: Maybe.
