So was watching The purge Anarchy and found the perfect actor to play Frank Castle.The actors name is Frank Grillor. Whatch the Purge Anarchy and tel me he wouldnt make a perfect Punisher.

Frank Grillo was in The Winter Soldier as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones.

I do want to see Punisher in the MCU though, a Netflix series would be ideal. The second wave of Netflix shows could feature Blade, Punisher, Moon Knight, and Ghost Rider, culminating in a teamup.

Yeah, Grillo certainly looks the part but looks like he will be crossbones. I would be happy to see Ray Stevenson in the role again. War Zone was a crap movie but he was just right for the part.

There's zero chance that Grillo will be Punisher, he had a prominent role in TWS. i'm more excited to see him as Crossbones.


Id rather they bring Tom Jane back instead of using Grillo.

Yeah, Grillo certainly looks the part but looks like he will be crossbones. I would be happy to see Ray Stevenson in the role again. War Zone was a crap movie but he was just right for the part.

Stevenson already plays Volstagg, although I certainly think he'd do a good job.

My choice would be Joe Manganiello.

He's already Cross Bones. I was introduced to Grillo in Mother's Day. That was a fu**ed up movie!

He would be a great choice! I can see his Judge Dredd performance being transferred!

I appreciate for Jane for humanizing Castle, but Lundgren is still the best Frank Castle! He was brutal before Stevenson tried to make it cool.

I really think the Thomas Jane id a good job in the previous film and a fantastic job here:

I think Urban would be terrific as well.


The biggest irony of the whole thing is that Dolph Lundgren as he looks now would make a GREAT older Castle. He really looks the part of the comic book character now (lines and wrinkles, not scars). But no early Elvis super duper fake black hair again.

I doubt Marvel will be putting out a Punisher movie anytime soon since that's already happened twice in the past ten years and neither franchise went anywhere. I can, however, see a mature audiences only Punisher Netflix series in the next couple of years.
