Has anyone seen this yet? It was great. Everyone in the audience was crying at parts. I've only seen that happen in two other movies: The Color Purple and ET. Great movie:up:

I want to see it although I know it will make me cry
But, it's a good cry. And it has a happy ending.

This will probably be the only movie to make me break my "No Will Smith Flicks" rule...

I love Will Smith, in my opinion if you don't like him you have no soul so don't mind him. Good to see you enjoyed it CG, I think that it looks great and I really want to see it and will, probably soon.

Will Smith is one of my favorite actors.

For the most part, no. This looks good so I will probably check it out. His other movies have been crap and he just plays himself over and over.

IMO, Will Smith is an exceptional actor and does NOT play himself over and over, but that's me.

Anyway, TPOH was great. I teared up at alot of parts, but really cried at the end.

This movie was really great, perfect holiday movie as well.

How can you even judge when you haven't even seen any of his movies?

C'mon man. I don't PAY to see Will Smith movies. I've seen them on cable and on (other people's) dvds, and of course downloads. The reason I don't like him is because I HAVE seen his movies.

:yay:

I liked that the movie doesn't idealize Chris Gardner, because it seems like he just didn't plan very well for the challenges of marriage and fatherhood. But seeing what he goes through, and how hard he works once he's given an opportunity is inspiring. And Will did a great job of drawing you into Chris' life.

Yes, true, I love him, too...! And working with his son in this was incredible. Lil' Jaden is going to be an awesome actor growing up!

I thought POH was great, but not as amazing as I really wanted it to be... Just too many "let downs" and aspects that weren't as truly incredible as I wanted... But I think the whole story and the message were so incredible, the best of the year, and worth seeing and understanding alone.

I saw trailer while I waiting for Deja Vu. Will Smith looks great in it so I will watch it when gets released in UK.
