I am glad he fought for the bridge sequence being put at the end and not having the final battle in Washington D.C. I wish he had the freedom to make these changes without asking, but he definitely had a positive influence on the final product.

HeroLover said:Yes, he fought for that because its placement in the movie was more important than Cyclops. I doubt studio politics would have allowed for a bigger role anyway.

HeroLover said:Yes, but moving it to the third act required a script rewrite and completely changing the end of the movie. That is a bigger deal than how much screen time one character gets.

I agree. Putting Trask in the movie without having him launch sentinels is a complete waste and swift kick in the balls to any sentinel fan.spidey207 said:I think that's bs and if there is an X4 and beyond i kinda don't want him to be the director just cuz I want f'ing Sentinels and it doesn't look like we'll get them with his outlook. And why use Trask then, why couldn't Duke's character have a different name and serve the same purpose in the script and then they could still use Trask in future movies and stay true to the comic character. Instead they waste yet another character. I'm still really looking forward to this movie but that pisses me off.
