Just wait for the acquisition announcement
No. They signed some sort of deal with Fox that intertwined the rights with them somehow. Disney will inherit that. The rights aren't going anywhere. After reading a few other message boards in regards to Constantin's rights...I am now starting to get a sick feeling in my stomach...what if the F4 rights aren't really part of this? What if now we have to contend with Constantin Films who I guess are the rights owners? I get they are a low budget German company but could they really take the rights and make a deal with someone else? I mean I still can't believe Doom, Galactus, Surfer, and the 4 are possibly still trapped in rights hell? Maybe I am freaking out for no reason, but somebody help me out here to calm me down lol

I think at worst you'll have to wait until 2022-23 to get FF as Disney/Marvel waits until the right expires and Constantin loses whatever rights they have left. I don't think it even comes to that though.
I don't think we have anything to worry about regarding Constantin
You mean you don't think Disney is going to be blindsided in this deal by any rights Constantine has?
Surely you jest....
Regarding Constantin possibly posing a problem, unlikely.
Thing is when they went to Fox after realising they couldn't handle making any FF film post Corman fiasco they had to get Marvels participation on the terms for the new deal and consent to 'partner' up with Fox. Handing off all financing, production, and release of Marvels IP to another company entirely wasn't something they could just up and do without Marvel being on board with it all.
What's become abundantly evident since is that the only people Marvel has dealt with since concerning the FF rights is Fox: When the deadline for Fox to make an FF film was due to run out it was Fox who got an extension in 1999. See more on that here: http://variety.com/1999/film/news/marvel-fox-pact-for-pix-1117491127/
Zero mention and zero sh#ts given about Constantin.
And later when the Silver Surfer, who was never owned at any time by Constantin, was joined up with the FF package, they were not in on that loop at all. They are very much a silent partner in all this, if they can even be called that.
Bottom line, while Constantin got to keep a co producer credit and apparently distribution claims in Germany & Austria with their deal, that's it as far as their 'ownership' goes. All effective ownership and actions as such concerning the movie rights have been with Fox since they made that deal back in 94.
As Willie already noted: If Constantin had any power in this they would have used it before FFINO got greenlit, and gone begging Feige to cut them in on the MCU action then. But Fox's hold in that deal is airtight. All the perpetual deadlines Constantin were in possession of have been with Fox since 1994.
Which is why they are sh#t out of luck if this deal goes through. Constantin will have only 2 options. Pray that Disney, who would then be the owners of the deal they made with Fox (it would still be valid, which the click-bait sites are ignoring), cuts them a nice 'goodbye and ###k off' check, or they get absolutely nothing when Disney just wait for the deadline to go by.
I cant see any way Constantin can do bugger all about it.
No, some of us think this got dealt with earlier, during that move to have it sold or disbanded. The Mouse, and Fiege especially, would not have missed that trick.
And somebody alert the ambulance crew closest to Willie, he might do a Fred Sanford.
Give me Ben Grimm teaching Danvers to fly a bird.
Give me Reed lecturing a young Tony Stark on not being reckless with inventions.
Give me that Cap/Torch Bro Road Trip movie.
Give me a strong, confident, and very sharp Sue Storm.
But most of all...
Bring it Home, Mr. Fiege. Bring THEM home.
Though I'd go Spidey/Torch.Constantin would still work with Disney. The real issue is if Disney would work with Constantin and split the profits. The FF may remain on the backburner since Marvel won't get 100% of the box office revenue and they aren't as popular as Spider-Man.

"I went to lunch with Bernd, who told me he'd sold both the film and the rights to Fox, who was going to make a $60 million version and they didn't want this low-budget movie around," recalls Corman.
Considering the Spider-Man deal...the answer is yes. And they let Sony keep ALL the profits from the film. They simply profit from merchandise and other Spidey movie appearances instead.
What if... They thread the FF characters through other films and then in the actual FF film that's when they get their powers? Anyone opposed to that?
