Would Logan Sandler be a good director for Silver Surfer?

He would not! :argh:

And no getting him to play Norrin Radd either!

Shalla-Bal?

I think Krasinski as Reed would be cool, especially if Emily Blunt is Sue.

Krasinski is always going to be Jim Halpert to me, so that's a no no. Same reason why I'm happy they picked Chris Pratt as Starlord as opposed to Dennis from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I only said Krasinski because he looked good in that photoshopped pic

Patrick Wilson is my ideal Reed Richards.

He'd be perfect. He's also 6'1 like Reed is in the comics. He's a great actor. See him in films like Little Children. He'd be great but unfortunately he'd be too old for the role when the FF get their next film in the MCU.

Yeah, I get this weird, irrational fear - like they've only got X number of good films they can do and once they use that number up, we're screwed.:nrv:

I just keep thinking "At some point, they've GOT to screw SOMETHING up really bad....please don't let it be FF."

Yeah, I specifically remember sitting in the theater watching Ragnarok and thinking: "Wow! They did it again. How can they keep doing this? They're due for a stinker that will probably coincide with FF.":o
I haven't watched it yet, but I think Inhumans is the first MCU stinker, the streak breaker (at least reception wise, maybe it's awesome). So now we got that out of our system :D

Inhumans doesn't count since it was done by the TV division, not the movie division. Feige has nothing to do with that.

I don't mind him for Reed. Don't really want Emily Blunt for Sue Storm though. I'd prefer someone warmer than her.

Lately I'm leaning more towards Oscar Isaac as a potential Reed.

Yeah, another Fox/Marvel alum repurposed for the MCU. :woot:

Issac is a good actor but I don't think Reed needs to be race-changed

Whoa..... that would actually be excellent casting. I'd love that.

John Krasinski would be another good choice. Not my number one pic, but I'd be on board with that.

I think Oscar Isaac would be great and I have no problems with race changes (depending on how it's done). Fant4stic's race change was bad because they changed Johnny and not Sue as well, so it stood out more for all the wrong reasons. It made Johnny look more like a token and the Storms being blood related is a important aspect when you think about it. Ben is meant to be the 'adopted' member of the family. I would have been fine with it if Sue was related to Johnny and was black too (but that wouldn't save the car crash of that film).

Oscar Isaac can bring a lot things to Reed that I think the character needs. He can believably portray an intelligent character, he can bring charisma, likability, and be a believable leader. Out of all the members, I think Reed should have open casting in terms of race.

Of the four, Reed is the easiest to give a race-lift. And it hardly matters with Isaac, who's made a name for himself playing loads of characters who aren't specifically Latino.

Ben I wouldn't change, because 1) he's one of the most iconic and recognized Jewish-American superheroes, and 2) he's largely based off Jack Kirby.
