The X-Men and the Fantastic Four will be in the MCU this week.

The X-Men and the Fantastic Four will be in the MCU THIS WEEK!!!!!

I know that the last couple of my posts have been repetitive, but just typing that out right now, despite how long I've hoped (pun intended) and dreamed for this, is almost unbelievable. It's like it doesn't even register yet. Definitely going to take a while for this to sink in.

Can't wait :hehe:

Wasn’t too long ago that we were living in the days of “there’s a chance the MCU eventually gets the Four, but Fox will never let go of the X-Men.”

Life is funny that way, bros.
Ah, yes. I was always hoping for just the Fantastic Four, but I'm even happier about getting (pretty much) every Marvel character at their disposal now

Before every MCU X-Men sequel we better get:

“Previously....on X-Men!”

Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Magneto, Mister Sinister... :hmr:

Galactus and Apocalypse. Just give me the heavy hitters.

“I’m as beyond mutants as they are beyond you...”

I hope they make Victor a real intellectual challenge for Tony.

That's why it's laughable when some folks say Disney will never get the Spider-Man rights from Sony or even the remaining rights from Comcast.

The hardest one - by far - was X-Men. I also dare say FF would have been just as hard to get as SM from Sony, at least. Fox never got FF right, but that license has humongous potential on a very weak contract. Unlike X-Men and Spider-Man, they only had to produce a movie every 8 years or so, with the start of production every 7 years or so. Fox said no to extending Daredevil because they didn't want to give up SS and Galactus. They would have kept that license forever and they already had plans to extend the license with Hawley's Dr. Doom and the FF kids movies.

Remains to be seen, but with the assets Disney has to divest and Sony showing interest, there's at least a chance for them getting those rights sooner rather than later. Comcast's rights will happen if and when they sit down to get those 30% Hulu rights.

Tell me about it. I only wish more of the naysayers were still here to see it.
