This is what Scott Mendelson has to say about the delay:
Box Office: Why Disney Is Rooting For 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' To Bomb
Maybe. Feige has said that Namor's situation is complicated, and one reason may be that the character debuted in Motion Pictures Funny Weekly rather than Timely. Mr. McKenzie wasn't a "work for hire" creation, and Bill Everett's heirs may hold live action rights to the character that will need to be cleared.
Major wasnt named a mutant till recently. So I dont think he's a part of Fox's character listing.

Meant Namor. Damn auto correct.Who is Major?![]()
I think Volkov is right. Collin is from the UK.Apologies for backtracking, but does this mean that the embargo has been delayed even further? I noticed the above Tweet doesn't mention a time zone. The one below, however, indicates 3:30 am UK time on the 3rd. Is the person who made the first Tweet simply being imprecise? I'm almost certain that's the case, but I just want to make
sure.

It was like 8 to 10 years or so ago. He was never an xman affiliate character like deadpool or like Wanda and Peitro. It was after the illuminati comic came out when they made him the "first mutant".Recently when?

In X-Men #6 (July 1964), X-Men leader Professor Xavier and antagonist Magneto each suspect Namor is a mutant and make efforts to recruit him. Later writers in the 1960s and 1970s described him as a hybrid, not a mutant, in order to distinguish him from the mutant X-Men.[70] When the series was revived in 1990, the series title logo carried the subtitle "Marvel's first and mightiest mutant!".
You'll prolly have to get rid of the tweet man. Language.

I think Volkov is right. Collin is from the UK.
Lol remember how many people defended this movie
Mads as Reed would've been bad, when he would be so much better as Doom.
What next? Chris Hemsworth as Loki? Chris Evans as Red Skull? Hugo Weaving as Steve Rogers?
Lol remember how many people defended this movie
.
For Venom? I'll check it out. Not going it see it in theaters anyway. The after credits scene have been revealed apparently. Not wishing to spoil myself as I'm interested to see for myself.
