Not having Cox cameo in Civil War as Murdock was a missed opportunity. Should have been a lawyer trying to get Cap out of sticky situation.
Yup. Probably won't be Cox, though. Feige may have his own vision for DD. I still think the costume they went with is an eyesore. I don't understand why they didn't go with the comic accurate suit from the concept art

OK, here we go, 3 quick questions, answers direct from Kevin Feige's mouth
1) AVENGERS 4 trailer "before the end of the year"
2) Namor COULD make an appearance, still deciding IF & when
3) GUARDIANS 3 status "on hold"

Why are people asking about Avengers and Guardians? We want to know about Fantastic Four and X-Men in the MCU!

Ok crazy theory time. Is it possible Eternals has been moved up to November 2020 because they need it to introduce mutants for a x-men film in 2021?

They look so good together.

It might mean nothing but apparently Universal Studios theme park are renaming their hulk roller coaster into the wicked roller coaster.

Now I wonder why they would do that
Good spot. Definitely worth speculating about!

If it's the Wicked roller coaster, they'll be defying gravity during that ride!

I want to know about Guardians. Right now the franchise is at a crossroads due to the Gunn situation. Us fans would like some answers as to whether GOTG3 is going to happen or not and on what type of timeframe or what it would even look like.

Plus Feige probably cant say anything at least until the deal closes.

2022 by the looks of things. since production got delayed to 2021 if those reports are accurate.

1.Good but expected
2.Great!! Didn't realize that was a possibility
3. but also expected.

If it wasn't a possibility before, it certainly seems to be now- that is if the veracity of this person and their Tweet holds up. It's exciting to realize that all of the contracts have already been sorted out- especially without the public gaining knowledge of it, leading to a deal being reached (in addition to the big one, of course!).

Yes, I really hope there's something to this. One day hopefully everyone will be home.

I am sure one day they will be. I thought the xmen would be the ones that never come home and that’s happening so if it can happen for them it can happen for everyone :)

The Fox deal still hasn’t closed yet so until it does Marvel/Disney still doesn’t have the rights to those characters. Which means I suspect Feige’s answer would be a non-answer. If they had asked him, his comments would’ve be some variation of what he said before like, “if/when that deal happens we’ll start working on it but until then we’re just focusing on finishing these movies we announced four years ago”. Wait until sometime after the deal is 100% closed before you can start expecting Feige to say anything concrete on Marvel’s plans for those characters.

If the deal closes before Captain Marvel we might get some little teases from Feige during the Captain Marvel press junkets. If not with Captain Marvel then certainly by the Avengers 4 press tour. I remember Feige did reveal some spider-man details to Collider during the age of ultron press junkets like that Spider-Man would be in highschool. That was in summer of 2015. 2 and half years out from Homecoming.

That made me so giddy! Feige is clearly super excited. This is what he has dreamed of since the start of the MCU! I can't wait to see what Marvel comes up with.

The merger certainly made this X-Fan excited about the film side again.

Yeah, he's got ideas on top of ideas going by that sly smile. Just pick the right ones. :)

I mean absolutely no disrespect to Mr. Feige when I say that the man is an absolute master at giving these "non-answer answers". He delivers his responses with such careful smoothness that it isn't until a few moments later that you realize: "Hey, wait a second- he didn't really quite answer that!"

But as deft as his answers are, Feige's smile in that video, to me, belies a lot.

I'm sort of glad the MCU is sort of changing eras. That means we can stop asking stupid questions about Fox, X-Men, and Fantastic Four.

Now people can start asking Feige dumb questions about Venom, Symbiotes, Black Cat, Morbius, and Spider-Man :p

He really is.Tho he doesnt have the best poker face lol. His smile and laughter and indirectly confirming he already has plans say a lot.

After he's done with films, he could become a politician. Non-answers would suit that field! :o

Looks like Disney's conference call is scheduled for November 8. We might get a closing date then, but if we don't get an actual date then. We're almost certain to get more information and a narrower window on the closing date.

Who would have thought that Sony was going to be the final boss?
