May 24: Disney's Aladdin
May 31: Godzilla: King of the Monsters
June 7: The Secret Life of Pets 2
June 7: Dark Phoenix
June: 14: Men in Black spin-off
June 21: Toy Story 4

Good luck, Dark Phoenix.
There is a chance Aladdin will bomb. It’s already gaining controversy for its whitewashing and Memorial Day has always been a curse to Disney. A Star Wars movie bombed there.

I know.

Still can't believe that Disney will release Aladdin and Lion King the same year... TWO MONTHS apart .

There is no way that a modern remake of the one of the most iconic Disney films of all time, is going to bomb, man.

My comments are disappearing. What's happening?

At this point, I'm posting to see what shows up where. But this would be the best venue for DP. :funny:

Anyone else missing over 2 days worth of posts?

Comcast may decide to bid on an RSN or two when Disney spins off the stations. And both Kabletown and the Mouse will likely meet regarding Hulu ownership as well. But Disney doesn't appear to have any real leverage to pick up outstanding Marvel rights without a major overpay. It's a bummer, but I can understand why Iger decided to pick the door with the money after winning the bidding war for Fox.
I still feel the dozen of Dreamworks Animation films owned by FOX will come into play since Universal owns them.

The namor and hulk rights probably didn't even cross their minds. As many pointed out they were a tiny a part of the equation.

Just going back to Venom success vs failure. wouldnt it be better if it was a success then sony would feel confident moving forward without spiderman?
No, because the opposite could also happen - Sony may feel confident to make Spider-Man films on their own again.
