The Return of X (Dark Horse)

So I haven't read comics in years but I found out recently that Dark Horse launched a new X series last year and I decided to check it out. Picked up the first seven issues and I'm hooked. It's a bit grittier than the old "Comics Greatest World" series (though I have to admit I preferred the artwork of that version to this) but it still manages to capture the feel of the world of X and take it to some new places. If you're unfamiliar with the character, he was introduced during the big comics boom of the earlier 90s. He's basically a mashup of Batman, the Punisher and Deathstroke, though a bit crazier than all of them.

Anyone reading this? Or anyone remember the old series?
