A real shame Riddler wont be in the movie,I was looking forward to seeing what Chris was going to do with him.

I can potentially see Hugo Strange as the villain,it would be interesting to see Bruce going through therapy with him. But Tom Hardy playing the part? I cant imagine that.

Paul Dano or Michael Pitt should be the Riddler. Brian Cox should be Dr. Strange.

Post #5,420 by Colonel Kurtz (who has not been on here since 2011) - he predicted Paul Dano being in The Batman! That's 9 years and some months before Paul Dano was cast in October 2019! The movie came out in March 2022 of course.

I was browsing this thread as Michael C Hall (of Dexter fame) was a popular choice as The Riddler.

Dano being Riddler for Nolan would’ve been wild. He would’ve been 27 at the time that TDKR was made. About ten years younger than Bale. The character being an insufferable young genius? I could buy it.

The Batman take on Riddler is not that much different from how Nolan would have approached the character if he used him for Rises. I could easily see him exposing the lie about Harvey Dent and making things difficult for everyone.

Character-wise, you’re probably right. But I think Nolan would’ve gone for a different visual.
