No, no they didn't.

so... i did. i self-sacrified myself, in this heroic act... of making a joke that stoner wiseau. because that is a job for-nevermind, i'm not THAT redundant to make a supes joke... but yeah, that was pretty redundant, but he gets what's he deserves (being ridiculed by the internet again and again for making the room, and then taking off a video under fair use. that even kinda free markets the film...)

Agreed on Michael C Hall. Dude would be fantastic. Anyone see Gamer? He was the best part of that movie.

What do you guys think of Lee Pace?

He actually was pretty spot on in terms of look with Jonathan Crane's first appearance. Same hair, glasses, scrawniness, style ect..

Even Heath Ledger matched the Joker's first appearance.

I think if something gives us a small clue, it might be Riddler's first appearance. He already sort of looks like Levitt in Inception.

*relaxing sigh* Aaaaaah. I love it when fans prove other fans wrong in the morning. LOL :oldrazz: Lovely point though; Nolan does his research to the core. He always goes back to square one and dusts off the good old stuff to make it dashing and modern; Gordon really does look like him if you take it from the original first appearance. He's got my vote.

Personally....I think Giovanni Ribisi would make an awesome Riddler. He's not as big of a name as Norton and he'd probably cost less. He's also a better actor IMO (not saying Norton can't act or anything).

I don't think he's a better actor than Norton!,But I am a fan of his and I agree with the rest,I still prefer Depp though as Riddler!,IF none of them get's it and out of the other guys from the poll I would pick....

Steve Buscemi
Daniel Day-Lewis
John Malkovich
Ewan McGregor
Timothy Olyphant
Guy Pearce.

haha yeah Im the guy who got proved wrong. But it was educational so Im happy to be :)

I never knew thats how Crane looked originally, I have read the first 5 or 6 Joker appearances though, To be honest I kindof like the original concept better the modern one seems to obvious. Oh his name is the Scarecrow and he's got long blonde straw like hair and a big Icabod Crane nose under that sack on his face... one thing about Cillian in TDK though is I wish his hair was a bit longer and he seemed a bit more messed up along the lines of how he was at the end of Begins....

the longer hair just cause after the way he seemed at the end of begins i could hardly imagine him going to a hair dresser or even bothering cutting it himself..

anyone else agree?

oh and about the Riddler how about Mel Gibson?

or maybe he could just have a cameo in Arkham>?

I was under the impression that Joseph Gordon Levitt was already set for the part? I thought that was 98% for sure??? I definitely wont mind seeing Johnny Depp in the role... But after seeing Levitt as Arthur in Inception, I think he's pretty awesome. He's certainly grown up since "10 things I hate about you" :-)

i already made that joke a page ago, but the more the merrier! :D

i'm still supporting vincent cassel and john simm.

Mel Gibson or Tommy Wiseau?

If you haven't heard of Tommy you should watch those links then read about the film The Room(2003)

once you watch it it haunts you, they call it the citizen kane of bad films

tommy wiseau, i also gave the same link to "i deeyd naut heet herr! thetS bewllsheet! I DEEYD NAHT! aw hiy mawrk!" clip... but, the more tommy wiseau jokes, the merrier.

and yeah, that movie sucked a$$...

Its JGL for me. He has that skill that Heath had, where he delves into the mind of the character of what hes playing. Gets everything right to the last detail. So maybe we'll get to se a more faithful Riddler, and see the dangerous extent of OCD.

There's no way Mel Gibson will be cast as Riddler. :down

i think Joseph Gordon Levitt should play the Riddler in my opinion he fits the role very well and think he could produce a dark and gritty character to fit in to the Nolanverse and is also a good actor overall so...

JGL IS THE RIDDLER FTW :oldrazz:

I have insiders. my moms sisters has a brother whos father has and estranged daughter who adopted a baby who raised a puppy into a dog who had a litter of puppies and Chris Nolan bought one with a black spot around its eye.

But he told that puppy Mel Gibson is his numero uno for Riddler and it got back to me,
:cwink:

Which Riddler versions have you seen or read? He looks and acts nothing like the Joker in recent years.

There was no mention of JGL and mention of Pee Wee,so I didn't read.
