The right kind of Vibe - the Cisco Ramon thread

Hopefully Cisco is into some particle physics, ...make him a vibration string theorist - who predicts and detects other dimensions.

... have him eventually tapping into and cracking open dimensions and time, vibrating between them.

For better or worse, maybe something Zoom or S.T.A.R labs can exploit, but Cisco will eventually control.

 

Wow, Cisco name-dropped himself with the "bad vibes" line. Also, seeing him and Caitlin running for their lives, and Slade just causally following them was hilarious. He was like a smarter version of Jason Vorhees in that scene. Also, cool Doctor Light name-drop as well.

 

Actually Fritz-Simmons are quite likable (except when they get a lot of screen time), AOS suffers from other problems. (IMO.)

Ok he's mostly just the exuberant goofy gadget guy.

Vibe - "I make the toys man!" Did he say mang?

Not exactly a particle physicists, and it's hard to imagine this guy ever talking seriously about vibrational string theory, although he does have somewhat the same hair style as Michio Kaku above.

So maybe he will grow into it, and at first predicting and then detecting and eventually opening dimensions through vibration is in his future.

 

This dude needs a hair cut and to never smile with his mouth open.

Definitely a different take on the character, and he can be annoying , but he's likable enough.

I think he (as part of the team) plays well off Barry and the others, and the more fun approach to superheroing that makes the Flash work, and the other grim avengers lack.
Also as tonight's episode showed, he'll be able to put out there allot of the "comicbooky" name, ideas, and gadgets, and sell them (costume,symbol, treadmill, candy-bar etc.) cause it's him designing and naming them.

It's hard to imagine at this point, but if he ever does get his own story arc and to have powers, and can vibe open into another dimension, they should have him strut through to the theme of War's Cisco Kid that would be epic!

I imagine at some point Flash is going to have to alternate-timeline/reality jump, and Cisco is going to be a key player in that, either by way of an invention like the treadmill in today's episode, or eventually his own powers.

 

And LOL DC needs to market some Cisco Kid brand: Flash Energy-Bars, asap!

I really like Vibe's character so far. I feel like he's what Felicity would be if Arrow had the same tone as this show.

 

I thought that too, he is the Adorkable guy. Because he's not a potential love interest, he's allowed to be completely goofy, almost idiot savant type. Can't wait to see him vibe up.

I don't get the Fitzsimmons comparisons. Miss frosty disposition dead fiance wet blanket is not adorkable by any means, nor does she have any adorkable interactions, imho. Except for with Joe West, but almost everyone's adorkable compared to the cool old black guy.

 

I like Cisco.He's sorta this show's "Julio".

 

Cisco will probably be the only original memeber of team flash to stay as ally to barry since wells is probably zoom and Caitlin will eventually become killer frost.

Actually, Wells isn't likely to be Zoom.

Somebody somewhere (might have even been on this forum) pointed out the Easter Egg in the last episode where Wells referred to himself as a pariah. That went over my head since I never read the beginning of COIE (I was only interested in the Flash-saves-the-universe-part), but this is probably who Wells is based on what we know so far.

Yo, remember that one time Vibe used his powers to put two dimensions together? So boss.

 

I didn't care for him that much when he appeared on Arrow but I kind of love him now.

 

Damn that trust almost blew up in his face this episode.

Cisco - Makes Absolute Zero weapon, only thing that can stop Flash wooops!
Wells - "Never do that again!"
I don't think Cisco will be able to control that impulsive creative vibe.
Kind of like he's got to name stuff, he's also got to build stuff.
Inevitably there's going to be a need to tap into another dimension.

The set up of how potentially dangerous Cisco can be this episode put him in an interesting place.

The Kids grown on me too. Went from almost resenting him being there, to him being a potential favorite.
