From Robbie to the Terminator, from R2D2 to Wall-E, robots have always been a fixture of SciFi movies.

Who's your favourite robot and why ? (I haven't seen a similar thread but please merge if it already exists)

I'll go first.

_ ED 209 ("Robocop") : Clumsy and dangerous at the same time, he provided comic relief as well as a lethal threat.

_ T-1000 (T2) : The most badass robot in the history of cinema. I hope he comes back for T5, as it has been announced.

_ ABC Warrior Robot ("Judge Dredd") : Another badass robot and one of the very few things they got right in the movie.

Also I have high hopes for the Harvester in Terminator Salvation.
