Hey guys,

So what are you expecting/looking forward to/dreading about the Russo Brothers tackling 'Infinity War'?

Personally, I cannot wait to see them direct the Hulk in action. Biggest disappointment of 'AoU' to me was how the FX and physicality of the Hulk seemed to backslide into a bunch of CGI mess.

The Hulk on the Helicarrier is still his high point to me. Knowing how practical and inventive the Russos are with action, I think it could be something special.

Now the thing is, Russo's direct. Not create. Better hope the FX people do their job there. Better hope the Composer does his job in the soundtrack too.

Director wise I hope the Russo's manage to keep the tone to TWS at it's lightest. I want this film to have levity but not so much so that it borders on Age of Ultron level where the quipping outshines the seriousness of the situation.

Yes, but directors do have a lot of influence on how they use FX. The Russos are much more confident action directors than Whedon. Whedon did well in 'Avengers', but you get the sense that during some sequences, and MOST of 'Ultron', he sort of checked out and let the FX animators just fill in the action beats for him.

Russos will probably be much more hands-on in planning out action sequences, which will be fun to see with Hulk.

True that I thought the Hulk FX was a bit shotty too compared to the FX in Avengers 1.

based on the early reviews of Civil War, i couldn't be more excited for Infinity War.

I'm curious to see how they direct Thanos. A villain of his scale, intrigue, and intelligence needs to be handled with precision. I hope they drag an immense performance out of Brolin the same way they did to RDJ and Evans in Civil War.

Marvel put more on the Russos' plate and they responded by delivering an even better movie than the one they made before. Same with Markus and McFeely. Hopefully they keep that trend going with Infinity War.

I am prepared for the oncoming hate im about to get but...I hope the Russos consult Whedon when they are making the film so it still has that flare Whedon gave it when ever the heroes were all assembled together on screen.

I'd rather not. Let the Russos stick to their own style.

True true I know. The Avengers films need some fresh air anyways. Its just a little hope.

They proved in Civil War that they can direct the big action scenes, so happy to see them at the helm of Infinity Wars

can anyone handle so many characters in 5 hours movie?
i mean civil war has around 10-12 characters....but in this is 67....wtf

they will do Fine i mean if production already begins this year they have more than enough time

Woah, Noah Hawley and now the Russos.

The Russos will be developing original productions that will be co-financed by FOX. They won't be working on FF spinoffs.

I don't think this project could be in better hands.
