JD Vance bragging about Republicans getting rid of the individual mandate and putting a work requirement to get Medicaid is really weird and what's weirder is MSNBC didn't push back on it. He then spewed some BS about deregulating health insurance would lead to insurance companies to provide more unique plans for young people and older people and Obamacare limits our choices with a "one-size-fits-all", which is bull**** as someone who's used the ACA. The patient protections are what insurers want gone, which is what Harris is trying to keep at the bare minimum. I would love it if we could expand the ACA to an actual public option, but like the promise of the Great Society expanding Medicare to all it put too much faith into future politicians not ****ing with it.
