Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is no longer just a reality tv star - he's about to become a superhero. The Jersey Shore star signed a deal development and appearance today (Tuesday) with Wizard World Inc to become the subject of a new comic book series. "I grew up reading comic books and now I get a chance to star in my own. I can't wait for everyone to see what we are working on," The Situation said in a statement on his website SitchNews.com.

The Situation won't star in the comic book series alone, his brothers, sister and mom will also be turned into comic book characters thanks to the deal with Wizard World. The company is the largest Comic Con Tour in North America. “Wizard World is excited to partner with one of pop culture’s greatest stars," the company's CEO John Macaluso said. "Mike 'The Situation' and his family will broaden our relationships with celebrities to new areas that leverage our access to the media, the fans, and especially our ability to bring comic book characters to life."

The Situation comic books will be written and drawn by some of the leading artists and writers in the comic book industry.

As part of the deal The Situation and Co. will also be making appearances at several Wizard World conventions to promote their characters and meet and greet with fans.

No details yet on when the first Situation comic book will be released.
