Can't believe the first Avengers movie predicted this.

I'm guessing the Skrulls will have no connection to the Chitauri in this universe.

Even though they can't use Super Skrull I like how the Skrulls can all look different. We need that because the Chitauri all looked the same, Ultron bots, and the army the Black Order take to Wakanda probably all look the same.

I want some fat Skrulls, skinny Skrulls, buff Skrulls, ugly Skrulls, pretty Skrulls, old Skrulls, young Skrulls. You name it I want it.

Also, do you reckon they'll do the scene where an entire town gets poisoned because someone hypnotised some skrulls to turn into cows and convinced them they were always cows and then they made some funky tasting milk?

I wonder if this movie will give some context to how the war between Xandar and the Kree ended? By which I mean, "Did it end because of some crap related to fighting with the Skrulls".

Also, this totally ups my certainty that various political crap back on Earth, vis a vis Civil War, will turn out to be influenced by the Skrulls. Probably not a "half the populace are secretly shapeshifting aliens", but if your a couple alien spies who can disguise yourselves as anyone? Pushing the Accords, and pushing to make them crappy, is an efficient way to weaken Earth for later.

I could be wrong since its been awhile since I've seen GOTG but to me it seemed like the Xandar/Kree war ended not long before the movie started.

I wonder if Avengers 4 will be about the Skrulls. But would it be good to connect them to Thanos? I know he's not one in the comics, but they have a similar look with the wrinkly chins, and audiences might think they're related anyway. If Thanos is still around for Avengers 4 and the Skrulls show up, how can anyone not think there's some kind of connection?

Maybe Thanos's race is distantly related to the Skrulls like the Romulans are to the Vulcans. Maybe an Eternal mated with a Skrull?

They could conceivably, they just couldn't call him Super-Skrull.

Marvel often don't use the names of their characters anyway. I don't recall Pietro being called Quicksilver. Is Wanda even called Scarlet Witch? They could just do the same with Super Skrull.

They don't call them that I believe it was probably part of the deal to split the characters. Marvel can't use their code names but can have them.

Eh I don't know about that. They may not be called that in the movies but in the end credits it states both their name and code name in Age of Ultron and Civil War. The deal is that Marvel can use them but can't state that their mutants or their relationship with Magneto.

Yeah, but it had gone on for like a thousand years. Events 20+ years prior could plausibly lead to the war ending then, simply because it took that long for everything to shake out.
