I actually liked the version of Plasique in the JLU that didn't have powers. I too never heard of Karen but Ayer is really good at casting. Here's hoping he does it again with this film.

Since Katana exists in this continuity (which actually shocked me to see) does this mean we’ll get to see Geo-Force, Black Lightning and Metamorpho at some point following Batfleck’s lead in this movie universe? man I hope so since I’m a huge Batman & The Outsiders fan.

That would actually be a pretty organic property to bring to the screen if WB wants a Batman movie where he leads a team of metas outside of the standard Justice League playbook

I think it makes for interesting chemistry in team. There are some complete scums, some morally grey characters and a guys that would be considered to be good. I can see plenty of betrayal and individual agendas.

This was the most surprising, wasn't expecting Katana. I'm not sure how she fits due to the entire team being villains, are they going to change her role from hero to bad guy?

Color my surprised at Katana being in the mix. Very surprised. The Look is quite good. Great real world styled interpretation. I do wonder what the back story will be though? U.S. government agent? Agent of the Japanese government? Will she have a "mystic" blade? If so, is that why she is on the team? Did the soul stealing power of the blade overwhelm her? Nice to see a character I have liked make it to the big screen.

Not a bad idea, but I think we shouldn't get our hopes up about such stuff. Yeah, you could map things out like that but I think we have to be sanguine as fans and accept that these are indeed adaptations and that the studios are looking to make the best films that they can, not fulfill our dreams of seeing every thing lovingly recreated. Plus... It's the Suicide Squad. Other than maybe Deadshot and Boomer I ain't sure anyone else has a sure survival through to the end ticket.

I like her look the best of all of them(in a straight out comparison, not trying to consider comic book/other versions), and it was a good idea to give her more of a comic look. I really like Rila Fukushima who plays Katana on Arrow, so it's cool that they're setting this one apart.
