The Spider-Man 3 First Look Thread [Merged]

I just saw this today when I saw "The Pursuit of Happyness". If you want to see it, it's the very first First Look so be at the theater at least a half an hour early. Or you can do what I did which was get there and hour early, just to be SURE I didn't miss it. I actually got to see it twice cause I stayed in the theater to see the begining of the First Look again with the next showing. There was this really cool looking shot of Spidey webslinging at night with the crowd under him and the camera from the point of view of directly under him.( An animatic on this was in the leakied trailer) A closeup shot of Peter at the Spiderman day celebration looking proud and thankfull for the appreciation soaking in the moment. Mary Jane says an enthusiastic "Peter!" after she hugs him backstage. Brock saying something "battybattyfofatty, I came to see you!" flirting with Ms. Brant. I think teh shot of the symbiote covering the spider on Peter's chest and changing it looked different than it does in the trailer and improved. There was also the rest of the new stuff other people reported. Oh yeah, Peter says "I have this..." after J.J. tells him and Brock to get a picture of "Spider-man with his hand in the cookie jar". I must say that the footage looked great on the big screen even with the cinema lights still on.

I can't wait to see this movie!

Hopefully Grant Curtis will add it to his blog during or after it's run in First Look. They seem to have put all the other offical videos up on that so far.

Edit - Oh I just remembered. The line of Brock telling Spider-man "Love the new outfit." was a different more subdued and sarcastic sounding take.

I just saw this today in front of Babel... It was definately cool, I'll have to see it again, especially since they will probably be changing it out soon, as it is getting closer to the end of the month... I'll see what I can do about getting it on the web... My gf works at an AMC...

I think the scene you mentioned about the shot below Spidey at night is at the end, i could have SWORN he was swinging up to a building under constuction... I'll have to see it again to be sure, but i'm almost POSITIVE... anyway, interesting tidbit, it might confirm the reports of the construction site fight...

Yeah. In that shot I did noticed a really tall building he was swinging near, but I couldn't make out wheither or not is was under construction.

That's true about any upcoming francise film fan though. I do have to say I am glad I haven't seen another shot of Venom yet. I want to be scared when I first see him on the screen, not comforable and used to him. Gee, can you imagine how anxious people would be if that comic-con and leaked trailer Venom shot hadn't been seen yet? People would be going nuts in here wanting to catch a glimps of his face.

I watched it...it takes a while. I noticed this...when Tobey is talking on the set of Harry's roof...look at the background. It is the same background as the promo shot of Peter with the symbiote suit underneath.
