I wouldn't mind this idea if they were planning on doing it on this movie but Carroll said he will work his way up to it "someday" It's ridiculous to stretch out three films of Tom becoming what Maguire & Garfield became in their first movie. It's a dragged out notOrigin story that nobody asked for. And as a consequence, they add dumb things to Peter's character to make him fit into the box of what they want him to be.
I like the idea of Peter growing in the trilogy into a man. I don't like the idea of them removing elements of Spider-Man's character that were
always there from the beginning just so they can implement them back into the character later on.
