The Ultimate Warrior said:
Ahhhhh! You are nothing, but a normal! You don't deserve to breathe the same air that I and Hulk Hogan do! Hulk Hogan, I must ask you now as you asked me. Do you, Hulk Hogan, want your ideas, your beliefs to live forever? For Hulk Hogan, in this normal world, physically none of us can live forever. But the places you have taken the Hulkamaniacs, the ideas and beliefs that you have given them can live through me, Hulk Hogan.

That is why I breathe. That is why the Warriors have come. Hulk Hogan, there are ones that question where you are taking them. Do you no longer want to walk or step into that darkness? Hulk Hogan, the darkness I speak of is nothing of fear. It is about the beliefs...of accepting any and all challenges at the cost of losing everything, Hulk Hogan. You have lived, Hulk Hogan, for the last five Wrestlemanias for this one belief. Now, Hulk Hogan, I come to take what you believe in further then you ever could.

I come, Hulk Hogan, not to destroy the Hulkamaniacs and Hulkamania. I come, Hulk Hogan, to bring the Warriors and Hulkamaniacs together as one as we, Hulk Hogan, accept all the challenges with all the strengths of the Warriors and the Hulkamaniacs together. Hulk Hogan, the colors of the Hulkamaniacs are coming through the pores of my skin...and Hulk Hogan, when we meet, Hulk Hogan, I will look at you and you will realize then that I have come to do no one no harm, but only, Hulk Hogan, to take what we both believe in to places it shall never have been!

In absolute shock. I can't believe it. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Rest In Peace Warrior :csad:

One of my all time favorite matches. Warrior, Savage, Sherri, and Elizabeth are all gone now. :(

Arguably the two most iconic images of his career I'd say.

One of the biggest mark out moments of my childhood fandom

This is everything WWE have always wanted Cena/Orton to be.

The only way I see Lesnar winning the title is if he signs a contract where he gets more apperences. I don't think he'll win the title if he just shows up to build a feud at summerslam and then he leaves till WM roles around again.

I think he beats someone else at Summerslam and then has a title run like The Rock's from the Rumble to Mania

Watching the Daniel Bryan documentary. I'm on the bit where they talk about WrestleMania 27 and being bumped to the pre-show, and how Sheamus was arguably more heartbroken about it than Bryan was. It got me thinking... in a way, Sheamus has been almost as much a victim of the bad booking of Bryan as Bryan was. He's a pretty talented big man, who at one point was getting pretty over as a face, but it seems like he's never been able to recover from that 11-second victory over Daniel Bryan, he never really won the fans back after that even though it wasn't really his fault. Ironic, that, the guy who loses the humiliating 11-second squash becomes the most popular guy in the company, and the guy who wins is the one whose career is hurt.

I watched it tonight and thought the exact same thing, that win was Sheamus biggest loss. It was cool to see him give Bryan a hug when he came back through the curtain with the two belts the other night.

Exactly. And this is why I was so vehemently defending Sheamus at the time, when a huge majority all over were slating, ridiculing and insulting him rather vilely and unnecessarily. And look how things have turned out for him. That 18 second match practically destroyed his career which was on a real up at the time, which is a real shame. Prior to the match both guys were talking about how they wanted to put on a good show then after being bumped to the pre-show the year before and then having the match hijacked. They gave them the floor at Extreme Rules and they put on an awesome show. Sheamus said recently that Bryan is probably the guy he most enjoys wrestling too. The only ones at fault for Sheamus' decline really are the powers that be.

From what I read that call was all on Vince, he got some stupid idea in his head about breaking the fastest match at Mania record.

They handled AJ's debut pretty well, interesting that he's going to be a heel, I thought his promo was simple and effective. I wonder if Japanese fans think the Bullet Club should get a Japanese leader instead of a gaijin.

This was so cool.

Who knows how long the Bryan push will last though? I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts.

.

If Bryan isn't pushed as one of the centerpieces, or THE centerpiece, of the company for the next few years, it will be proof positive that WWE cares about aesthetics over fan reaction. WWE hasn't had a wrestler be this universally popular with fans since Austin and Rock were in their primes. I've never once heard any crowd pop for Cena, Orton, or Batista the way that crowds across the country have been popping for Bryan over the last few months.

Some people are wondering IF/HOW wwe will screw up D-Bry's push and title reign which is understandable but I think we should appreciate his push and reign day by day and think of all positives than just the iffy ones.

Push-He beat Triple H clean AND made Batista tap out in a three way match for the title at WM30 in two matches on the same night while"injured",On Raw before his first title match he got attacked by Batista/Kane&Randy Orton and took their finishers and yes Shield came to help before Trips could pin D-Bry BUT in the end he was able to get up on his own and deliver a knee plus to Triple H..the finisher that beat Trips at Mania,On Smackdown(match is advertised and so not a spoiler)he main events with the tag champions and the results aren't bad...So all this means that his first week ain't a bad start!

Title Reign-He will be WWE champion for a week so far..His longest reign as wwe champion,He will most likely be keeping the title and defend it at Extreme Rules and win or lose that would give him a month.

In the long run who knows how he will end up but for now he's off to a tremendous start that is better than not being champion at all again!

I caught a glimpse of the discussion in the previous thread about WWE doing a crossover with another promotion like NJPW. I can't see it happening. If you start talking about that, you have to start talking politics and who would go over in this crossover matches.

No way in the world would WWE let the following people do jobs: Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, and now that he's getting a push...Cesaro. And because he's getting a push eventually...Roman Reigns.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Eric Rowan, Ziggler, Big E, and the rest are fair game.

WWE's pretty protective of their brand.

Rob Van Dam returned on Monday’s RAW instead of WrestleMania XXX because Vince McMahon wanted to save the pop for the post-WrestleMania RAW. There was talk of using him in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but it was Vince’s decision to keep him off TV until RAW. The deal for RVD to return this month reportedly was agreed on two months ago.

Word from RAW is that RVD is scheduled for a “nice push” over the next few months and that Vince really wants to keep him around past SummerSlam if possible. Vince is really high on RVD and has always been a fan.

- As of this week’s WWE TV tapings, Christian was still not cleared to return to the ring after suffering a concussion on RAW three weeks ago. There is no word yet on when he will be back.

- Zack Ryder was seen nursing his back backstage at RAW in New Orleans but it did not appear to be anything major.

- Word from RAW is that the Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger feud isn’t something that’s expected to “drag on” and could be a “one and done” program.
