Yeah, Lupita knows she's got the look and is happy to show it off.
(And she played Nakia, not Okoye.)

Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates.
Starting January 9th, site maintenance is ongoing until further notice, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Due to recent news involving X, formerly Twitter and its owner, the staff of SuperHeroHype have decided it would be best to no longer allow links on the board. Starting January 31st, users will no longer be able to post direct links to X on this site, however screenshots will still be allowed as long as they follow Hype rules and guidelines. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I stand corrected.Yeah, Lupita knows she's got the look and is happy to show it off.

All of which was an overblown non-starter, like the internet loves to do.Erivo said disparaging things about black Americans in the past that we haven't forgotten, yet she wants to take on black American roles i.e. Harriet Tubman and Ororo. I'm not a fan of hers and her attitude is atrocious, but to each their own.
Would much rather see the eternal goddess played by DeWanda Wise, Kiki Layne, Yvonne Orji, Jayme Lawson, someone in that ilk.
She has star power to me, and such an excelent presence on screen, she is quite charismatic on interviews too, from what Ive seen. And her model background definetly helps her with this role, imo. We all know Storm is no ordinary/girl next door character, so Jodie has all the ingredients in my book.Agreed, she's my #1 as well!

RDJ was in his 40's so I don't see the issueStorm would probably be played by someone who's not on our radar.
Cynthia is in her late 30s. I don't think its ideal for a character we want to see in the MCU for 15 years or more.
Ororo's not a Black American
Sorry, didn't mean to be that guy but I had to
But curious, what did she say???
Ah damn, see never knew all thatBored Guy.... my artistic pal....

But nah Ororo is a Black American. Her father was a full African American photojournalist and her mother was the Kenyan Princess. Plus she was born in Harlem, then raised in Cairo. She's family.
And as far as Ms. Erivo, in some old tweets she called us ghetto, chastised us for questioning her casting as Harriet and said some other reckless mess. Never liked her since then.
