The Stupidest things In comics

I remember you told me you wanted to marry him. Something about a lighter and a fetish involving the smell of burning hair... I tried to block out the details. :o

That's a joke not even I will go along with. And I'm a Mademoiselle. (Thought I'd throw that in a post late.)

Actually, you know what I think is the stupidest thing in comics, for serious?

They brought back Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Back by popular demand, no doubt.
Seriously, did anybody care about her? She was literally created to die, and she can't even do that right.

Morrison killed her. You know how Marvel hates to let Morrison's deeds go unpunished.

She Hulk stating that no one has ever died as a result of The Hulk's existence.
My WTF moment is Iron Man and the SHIELD director talking like Hulk kills a ton of people every other issue.

another wtf moment is when i go to the shop and see wolverine in every cover that doesnt have Superman or batman on it.
im like...wtf?

So you don't go WTF when you see Wolverine on a cover that as Superman or Batman?

absorbing man could change into the substance caps shield is made out of. so what if its indestructable? it makes no difference

uh, I think he meant that it was stupid of Cap to hurl his shield at the Absorbing Man. by allowing the Absorbing Man to absorb its properties Cap gave him quite an advantage since the shield is indestructible.

Yeah, I think thats what he meant too. The writer made Cap look like a dumbass by making Absorbingman practically invincible.

New Stupid moments....

1)Wolverine healing in a matter of seconds from a skeleton.
2)Scott and Emma making out over Jean's grave
3)Anything by Chuck Austen or Rob Liefeld
4)That Congress would have hearings on superhuman activities and didnt call in the nation's greatest hero Captain America
5)The SHRA was to prevent widespread damage during superhuman fights yet the capekillers shot up an entire neighborhood trying to get to Patriot
6)Sue leaving her kids with Reed"Josef Mengele"Richards...like the FF building wouldnt be a battle site

You KNOW the answer to that one.

And they didn't shoot up and destroy an entire neighborhood. Sure, they should have a clean up crew pick up all those darts, but not destroy.

Wholesome Gwen Stacy not only cheats on the love of her life Peter Parker, but in the process, loses her viginity to her friend's dad...just because. Oh yeah, that spawned a couple of mutant twins who grew to look 20 years old in about 5 years.

Spider-Man's dormant powers manifest themselves after a life threatening expirience. Being buried alive, trapped under tons of machinery, shot at,beaten, drugged and nearly murdered over the course of 40 wasn't enough to trigger it. Being "killed" by a cross between the Hulk and Count Chocula did though.

Superboy punches comic book history stuff in and out of existance.

A symaphetic Bruce Wayne adopting an adolescent who stuffered a simular tradgedy that traumatized him in his youth... and dresses him like a fairy to fight mental institution escapees at night.

Reed Richards the smartest man on earth turns his best friend into a walking, talking orange chimney.

Wolverine being able to get blown up...and two minutes later get...beter :-(
