One of the Updates accounts noticed that Gunn only called the film Supergirl when they kicked off filming a few months back, but nothing was ever elaborated on.

I could buy it. It’s her first solo in over 40 years, I don’t think we necessarily need a subtitle even if that’s what the source material was called.

I can go either way on the title, but I wouldn't mind Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow as the full title. I'm sure some, but not a lot of, people on their own would just call it 'Woman of Tomorrow' for the sake of shorthand, similar to how no one says 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' but merely 'Winter Soldier.'
