The Superhero Cinematic Civil War of Tomorrow Thread - Part 62

Agreed about the Snyder gratuitous action scenes being out of place for Watchmen but I don't recall the opening scene explicitly giving away that Comedian's attacker was Veidt. He was still shown in the shadows from what I remember, but having read the graphic novel before seeing the movie it was never a mystery to me anyway.
You see a faint outline of side plastic nipple for a brief moment. :o

I remember thinking it did because Matthew Goode has a distinct lanky body type lol. And the more Snyder showed of him, the more obvious it was to me. But I also was a fan of the novel beforehand and knew already, so whatever. Honestly, on my list of issues with that film, that one's very, very low.

So anyway, Darth's 10 favorite X-Men!

That last one needs slight clarification these days, though given the rest of the list, it is easy to assume.

I have been in the doghouse this weekend because when we were having a gathering of friends the other night, I got a little liquid agitation in me and started an argument with our friends when I loudly announced “Pat Benatar is superior to Madonna in every way and I’ll fist fight any mother scratcher that says otherwise!”

I really don’t see where I was in the wrong.

So the moral of the story is, Billy is an angry drunk. :lmao:

I'm more of a mellow fellow when I'm on the sauce. :o

Well, Husk lost a few fans over the whole Warren romance. But, Gen X does not get the respect it deserves. [stares at 97 S2 trailer]

And Boom Boom goes through a lot of name changes.
Another fun list. Your favorite X-teams and line ups. I'm curious about stuff I've never had a chance to read.

Hmmmmm

Blue Team is always first in my heart

I think the Outback roster were pretty dope

Giant Size/Second Genesis is always legendary

Rogue’s Team was chaotic in a good way (wish they didn’t implode so quick)

And then I loved them because it reminds me of childhood

Which Kitty Pryde roster was your fave? :o

Honestly, probably him. He’s undoubtedly pretty strong.

But I will focus on going for his eyes and punching and grabbing him as much as possible in the baby-maker. So he’s not getting away unscathed.

Uncle Billy…

You’re a strapping Kentucky boy formerly from the hood! You better put Wolverine’s singing pretty boy ass in a figure four. :o

They'll keep him alive like Harrison Ford. :o

Remember Star Wars fans wanted Solo to be geriatric Ford in CGI as well.
