The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: Quoth the Kraven, "Nevermore." - Part 61

I'm indifferent about paying for Venom 3 but I'm still annoyed at myself for paying for Joker: Fooly Doo Doo. :o

LOL, I can't find the post now, but basically someone on Twitter was like this is Joker 2:

Joker: Lee I love you, blah blah.

Gaga: *looks right in his face*

Funnier than the whole damn movie.

This has nothing to do with anything but why is this site so dang hard to load and navigate these days? Both my laptops and my iphone always struggle to load this forum, do y’all have that same issue?

Always. I do have an easier time on my Samsung phone.

I now understand why Thanos never had a chance with Death. :o

You forget Thanos would never have such silly motivations in the MCU, Lily. :o

The Penguin continues to be the best show on TV. Sofia is one of the most fascinating, layered characters I have ever seen. The scenes between her and both Frances and Gia and intense, scary and heartbreaking all the same time and the range of emotions that Milioti goes through in them had damn well better land her an Emmy. Kudos to Deidre O’Connell and the young actress who plays Gia as well for more than holding their own in those scenes. Just fantastic work all around.

As for Oz…

Man, he really is a POS. I thought initially that he figured his brothers could find a way out of that hole and he was waiting for them to come back. Eventually I realized that he knew they were stuck down there for good and was more than happy to let them die so he could be mommy’s one and only. He really is a monster. I get jealousy and resentment but that was some evil The Good Son type ****. But it’s good. I’m glad they didn’t shy away from making Oz the monster that he really is. I’m thinking that before Francis dies, she’s going to find out what Oz did. For a moment I thought Sofia somehow knew and was going to tell her. Also, amazing casting and acting for the actor who played Young Oz. Very believable that he will grow up in the man we know and loathe.

Also, I guess this episode confirms that Julian Rush is, in fact, real.

I know we all love Cristin Milioti, but dammit someone give Deirdre O'Connell her Emmy too.

But this whole last episode...

If Batman isn't mentioned in the finale then I'm over it. A bomb goes off in the middle of Gotham, he has to have a mention!

The Penguin and X-Men 97 are the reigning champs this year of consistently compelling superhero tv.

It would be cool if the last episode ends as The Batman begins.

Edward Nashton, Oz Cobb... I think it's safe to say none of Batman's rogues in the Reevesverse will keep their original names. Harleen Quinzel will be Lee Quinn, Victor Freis will be Vic Fri. :o
