The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: Quoth the Kraven, "Nevermore." - Part 61

Plus they were raised in the "Children of God" cult
Add being a child actor which takes a toll on most people
Dude had a f*ed up childhood, clearly he never really recovered

Also, always wondered what's the deal with his shoulders, does he have that Gaten Matarazzo condition where he has no collar bones??

Man that “Children of God” cult and their parents did a number on Joaquin and River.

Truly some sick sh** that went on with that.

Wow, they grew up in a cult?! I didn’t know this.

Tobey and Jackman definitely have to happen for Secret Wars.

That’s too much money to be made.

Thats also too much money for casting. RDJ’s already taking up $100 million and lets not forget the usual MCU regulars are gonna be in it…..wtf is the casting budget gonna end up ballooning too if they add people like Maguire, Jackman, Cage etc?

You’re right homie. That movie legit has to make 3 gazillion to break even.

I told yall Finn Jones was coming back :o

No crap RDJ isn't playing Doom beyond Secret Wars. I said that day 1.

As for the notion of it being recast, maybe at some point down the road. But probably not immediate future, and even if they do, what's the point? Your new Doom already has no prior history with the MCU FF. So it isn't like just putting a new variant in there changes anything. At that point, Doom and the FF are a rivalry like sports teams are. Not for anything meaningful. It also doesn't make it any less dumb to use the stunt cast version as Doom and then to try and make a proper one. Cause YA SHOULD HAVE JUST DEVELOPED 1 VILLAIN IN THE 1ST PLACE!

So yeah, even if this is the plan....it still sucks

They got the wrong guy from Oppenheimer! Speaking of which, in honor of another movie that comes out today, I assume this must have been what it was like to be a fanboy in 1988:

Only in this case, Keaton was the right guy. :o
