The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: Quoth the Kraven, "Nevermore." - Part 61

I mean we are now at the point where it’s probably better off introducing Ali’s Blade with a semi fresh slate for the MCU

Rushing it now just to get him in the forthcoming Avenger movies would be very unwise, especially when you can just pop Snipes in there via multiverse shenanigans (still hilarious we can actually say that now, what a time we live in)

Yeah at this point I don’t want to see Ali’s Blade. Better just get some up and coming actor since I would like to see Blade stick around for a bit.

I guess since I discovered superheroes through other media as a kid before getting into comics as an adult, that makes me “Guy #1.”

We have at least a few Guy #3’s on this board though, even if they wouldn’t admit it. :hehe:

The real question is who still reads comics lol. I know there's still a good amount of us here who still do but I'd be curious about any who fell off the wagon so to speak.

And if you do, contribute to my Ultimate Comics tread dang you :weeping:
I'm sorry, I don't read Marvel books anymore :weeping:

I fell off the wagon about two years ago after Marvel jacked the prices up. :(

I still get a few comics, mostly Star Wars, but I fell off about 7 years ago. It was for 2 main reasons. With Marvel, they just kept on constantly interrupting series I was into, with event nonsense. And second, both companies would cancel anything I was into after 6, maybe 12 issues. It's so hard being a fan of a woman character.

I dont read more contemporary comics. 80s is my favorite era mostly. Some exceptions, but in general, I hate modern pacing in comics. Even in good stories cause in most it's just like nothing happens until the final issue and then everything happens, and runs don't get time to develop cause they get upended by some major annual event that forces everything back to square one. Which would be less of a problem if an average storyline wasn't like 5-7 issues. So you get 2 full stories and then they have to reestablish the entire thing. So I stopped caring. But I do pick up older graphic novels. For example I never read the Marvel Transformers comics, and now that those are getting re-released in graphic novels next year I plan on getting those and reading that entire run. But that's mostly how I do it anymore
